I am very pleased with this speaker. I am using it at my cubicle at work, and it is amazing. I can go from quiet for just my cubicle, or loud enough for the whole mail room! It has amazing sound, and works perfect for anything! I will be using this for the entire Holiday Potluck for the Whole Office as well!

Purchased mine four years ago and travel to different locations every day of the week. It is used continuesly ten hours a day and stll SOUNDS awesome!!!!!!!!!!! Then ont he weekends I use it outside while I do yard work. Plus I have QC-35 Bose headphones I use while I blow leaves.................FREAK'in FANTASTIC !!!!!

The speaker behaves differently each time I connect it to my computer. One time it will connect without issue. The next it will take 10 minutes of adjustments to work reliably. The time after that it will connect, but the sound will cut-in and out the entire time. Sometimes I can mess around with settings and fix the problem, and sometimes I have to just give up. All the inconsistencies makes it impossible to recognize the tech problem. The product is unreliable.

The speaker I bought my parents a year and a half ago won't work anymore. The speaker battery won't charge, from the plate or straight from the wall. Very frustrating. And can't find anything on the website to help us fix it or replace it. This was a gift to them and they can't use it anymore.

Purchased one month ago and have used the product daily. I'm sorry to report that as a long-time Bose user the SoundLink II falls short of my expectations. Sound quality is only marginally acceptable, particularly in lower end. Other reviewers have suggested it matches performance of the Wave Radio. This has not been my experience. Most significant issue: when using with my PC there is a noticeable and and disturbing lag in audio signal causing lip sync problems.

I went on the search for a Bluetooth speaker for my college apartment after listening to both a Harman Kardon and the Soundlink Mini. I am SO thrilled with this purchase and I'm so glad I chose the Soundlink over any other speaker. This speaker is simply incredible and if you're unsure whether to purchase it or not, you won't be disappointed. It's sleek, portable, looks awesome, and the sound is even more than I expected out of a Bose. Very happy customer!

This is a great product. I had the Mini 1 and decided to get the Mini 2 because of the new features and I love the Carbon color. My only issue is that the speaker does not charge via the USB from my laptop computer. I thought this was a feature that the unit was capable of. My laptop is running windows 10 and it has a dedicated USB charge port that charges even when the laptop is turned off. I can't figure this out. Please advise Bose.

I bought this speaker a few years ago and it is the best speaker you can buy at that price for that size. I don't know why they stopped making them. I am waiting for the 3rd generation but I don't see that happening. The bass is much better than speakers in the same class.

Bought this about 6 weeks ago to play music from my phone in my office. Setup was very easy and quality is much better than I expected from a single small speaker. Being battery powered and wireless has also reduced clutter. I took a few minutes to read the manual today and found a feature I didn't know about - using the multi function button to move forward/back in the play list. That solves the last inconvenience of using my phone as the music source. TIP: If you can put the speaker with it's back close to a wall (not flush, just close) you will get better low end sound.

We bought this to use on our kitchen tv through the AUX mode and also to use bluetooth feature from our phones. The sound quality is great and the speaker size is especially nice. It hides behind the tv wonderfully. However it powers off after 20 minutes of no tv use and everytime the tv is remotely turned on the speaker has to be manually turned on. On-line instructions state that this can be disabled by simultaneously pressing the bluetooth and plus buttons but that did not work. Called BOSE and they stated that the feature cannot be disabled. So great for bluetooth but not for something like TV through AUX or headphone mode.
