I really love this speaker - great sound and really easy to travel with. However, lately I've been experiencing issues turning it on. I've had the speaker for just over a year, but now it only seems to turn on if I have it plugged into the wall with the charger - even when it's already fully charged. Now I'm always worried it won't turn on if I take it with me on-the-go.

This has been my favorite speaker by far! I use it all the time! It is really loud and it sounds amazing! Easy to use, and perfect size to take anywhere. Love this speaker! However, recently, I've been having trouble with the bluetooth connection, and the battery life is now shorter.. Bose, what can I do to fix this??

I initially purchased a refurbished item, the sound quality was horrible, unlike the store demonstration. I assumed it was because it was refurbished and exchanged it for a new one. Unfortunately, I have had the new unit for approximately 1 week and I am having the same issues of it disconnecting, choppy sound. If I did not live 45 minutes from the Bose, I would exchange for the SoundTouch 10 with hopes that model performs better. This is the first time I have had a horrible experience with Bose.

For almost 2 years, I've used this speaker daily. I carry it from room to room, leave it in the kitchen and clearly hear in back of the house, carry it to work and plug into a computer for classroom use. It's great with classical, jazz, swing, country, and classic rock, audio books, podcasts, tv, It's well worth every penny paid for it and so incredibly versatile!

I bought my mini about 5 weeks prior to the release of the mini II,sure would like that ability to answer calls over the speaker. Anyway my girlfriend is hooked on my mini.Well I'm not a joint custody kinda guy.So I just bought her her own for Christmas. Only wish is that they make a pretty purple cover for it as well.Maybe a Lavender

Bought mine years ago and still working like the CHAMP it is!!! Take it in the motorhome when my radio in the coach is on the blink.. Take it in my saddle bags and listen to tunes when out riding my horse.... take it out in the yard when doing lots of yard work.... on my 14 acres! I have no regrets on the purchase of my sweet Bose mini blue tooth speaker.. It truly ROCKS I love it so much I purchased a traveling neoprene carrier for it to keep it looking good as the day I purchased it.

Just bought mini 2. I'm happy to use it with apple music from iphone ios, but WhatsApp and Skype hands free not working. If you think about using it as hands free consider that it only works with voice calls. not voip calls. best regards. Artefact from France

Great sound. Perfect base. I have seen this comment a couple of times but want to emphasize: Placing the speaker closer or farther from a wall changes the sound. Adjust the distance until you get the sound you prefer. I plan on using this speaker in my woods sitting around a campfire so I will place a couple pieces of firewood behind the speaker to simulate a wall. That should give the full, reflective sound that a wall provides. The speaker sounds better at home than it did at the store.

My kids gave us a speak for our birthdays and we just love it! Great sound and took it on a cruise so we could have our own music in our cabin or on our verandah. Love it! But here is the best part! We have had purple martin gourds for three years with no birds. Was going crazy seeing all of the martins in our neighbor's gourds. Then, I turned on my speaker and played purple martin songs from the Audubon app and voila -- some of them moved over to our house. Don't know what the bird sounds said, but it worked. If you can fool a purple martin into thinking he is really hearing other martins, it has to say something about the quality of the sound from the speaker.

Sound quality is excellent and is the best in it's class or even anything double to triple the size. Very accurate reproducing sound with excellent detail. Seems identical in sound quality to the first mini which is perfectly ok. The new features are welcomed but still lacking a couple things. Would really like to see the ability to link 2 of these together. Bose, you will sell more speakers to you do this, make it happen. The soundlink 3 is a little louder (at triple the size it should be) but I think the mini sounds better overall.
