I've owned two different "cheaper" Bluetooth speakers. You get what you pay for. The sound quality from this little Bose is amazing. My wife, who has a fear of anything technical, figured out how to pair it to her phone...guess what? It's now "my" speaker (or so she says) Guess I'll just have to buy another one. Great job as always Bose!

This is the second Soundlink Mini I've gone through in 3 years. Excellent sound as I would expect from Bose. Within a year the battery indicator started blinking orange and soon after held at a solid red and will not take a charge. Such an absolute waste of money.

The speaker quality is amazing! Indoors that is, outside is not horrible but could use some tweaks, AS well as volume, wish it was a little louder. Comparatively speaking to other competitors (JBL Charge, Beats Pill) I would recommend the Bose by far! I've had both competitors, (Beats Pill Was a Joke,JBL Volume louder, Bose Deeper and Crisp, Clear notes) but if Bose implemented a few adjustments this would be 5 stars no doubt! Over all , satisfied and would recommend and we'll worth the money

When used outside , for example: inside a bus or in a football match, it lacks volume, but when used inside this thing is insane big rooms can be covered with no problem, beats the every single other speaker you can think of. It does not distorts when it is in max volume and there is no single difference between bluetooth and aux which i thought there would be, bluetooth range is really great, 3 walls in between me and the soundlink and there was no problem. Finally everything sounds perfect, no matter what genre you like it will sound great. Undoubtedly it is awesome in every way. PD: the aluminium house scratches really, REALLY easily

Purchase yesterday. fully charge overnight, connected with Mac Pro, listen for 3 hr then Bluetooth just simply quit connecting. Reset unit and laptop as per instruction, but it just doesn't want to connect (16 inches away). The sound was rich and powerful WHEN it CONNECTED but it just simply quit and it is been silent since then. Disappointed in the QA & QC of the product, at this time I can only give a Fair assessment in the quality and durability until I can rectify the problem of Bluetooth until then it will remain low. I will further comment on the battery once I have used the unit. I must say this is the only Boss product that failed me severally.

Got this for my wife for Xmas. She loves it but when she turns it off it will say that she has 80% or whatever and goes to use it again the next day and will not turn on. She will plug it in with the charger for a couple of minutes and then it will work but she doesn't always carry the charger with her. Any suggestions, very frustrated.

I own numerous Bose products and I can tell you that not all of their offerings may be the best value (e.g. non-Acoustimass home theater center and rear channel speakers) but I can tell you that this speaker ranks up there with Bose's best-of-the best products. OK, the battery life is not the longest but its sound quality and output levels make that a moot point. Additionally, I dropped the speaker from a height of three to four feet and it still works perfectly. If in the market, also consider their outdoor, computer, stereo and earbud speakers as they are of the highest quality just like their Wave radio and Acoustamass offerings. What a great company.

Extremely complicated, push this, push that, numerous procedures with numerous steps just to try too connect devices. Still doesn't function most the time. Thousands of frustrated purchasers who just want to listen to music via Bluetooth without all the complexity or wasted time fidgeting around just to get connected or get device to produce sound ! Don't waste your money or time on Bose, cheaper Bluetooth speakers connect 100 Times easier than Bose dose.....

I have had several speakers from Bose, from speakers in my car to this one, I love the clear sound that Bose speakers give you, however I was disappointed with the bass. Bose says it sounds great, but I found it couldn't handle a lower pitch bass but the high pitched bass sound it has is phenomenal! Thanks again Bose!

Top quality. I forgot to bring my speaker indoors after a day spent working in the garden. I remembered 2 days later after a series of rain showers. After some lamenting, I placed the speaker into a bowl of rice for 24hrs and months later it still works great!
