I bought this refurbished and have had this item over a year. It never fails to deliver. It connects instantly and holds a charge for a long time. Delivers great sound. and use it all the time. It's a little on the heavier side but built for durability and is easily portable. Love this speaker and would buy it again.

A year and a half into our relationship, I don't know how I lived my life without this little guy. From patio time to parties to hotel rooms to cleaning sprees it never disappoints. I use it daily and it has more than paid for itself. If you love music and want a compact speaker with amazing sound, don't hesitate to get one!

I purchased the SoundLink Mini II as an upgrade to version 1 mainly for the newly added feature of the speakerphone. While the sound is excellent, just like the previous generation, the unit I received doesn't seem to charge beyond 80%. I left it plugged in and charging overnight and when I checked the next morning it still says battery is 80%. Maybe mine is defective?

I have the soundlink one and 2 and they are both amazing for the size and yes they are the size and weight of a brick but they are still really portable and sound amazing sometimes I put it on the side of my pool and play music and I can hear it everywhere they are truly amassing but one complaint I have is that the Bluetooth connection kinda sucks there is barley any range and if it does disconnect your song stops and speeds up so it can catch up and it is really annoying. Otherwise this speaker is truely great

Purchased the original SoundLink Mini when it came out. Absolutely, hands down, the best bluetooth speaker I'd ever heard. I purchased the Mini II recently, and I have to say, it's sound is only 75-80% of the depth and bass response of the original Mini. I kept reading reviews saying the sound was the same, I've yet to have that experience. The bass is nowhere near the quality of the original Mini, the volume is lower - too (at 30% +- volume I can barely hear the speaker). I'll try some of the solutions offered by Bose on this thread, if it doesn't help...the Mini II is going back for a refund.

I have a 1969 Porsche with the original blaupunkt am/fm stereo and old school speaker. Modifying the sound system devalues the originalty. This speaker is the answer I've been looking for - small enough to place right on the dash and simple to connect with Bluetooth. Now I have 21st Century listening without modifyng anything on the car..Beautiful!

This mini speaker made me to retire all the other speakers that I have at home. Great sound for that size. I take it wherever I go. Office, camping and etc. Great choice to impress others and takeover a boring small group with your music. I recommend to buy the cover to protect the smooth finishing.

So I bought my mini link about a year or two ago and it worked great until the last 6 months. Now it cuts out in the middle of songs and I know I've charged it. And today it stopped playing music altogether. It will connect to my phone but when it does it make a weird noise, not the typical ping and wheni hit play no sound comes out. Not even when I use an aux cord. I really hope someone can help me figure out how to fix it or if I have to replace it.

I absolutely love the audio quality of the speaker, the ease of connectivity with devices and the long battery life. I just have one major complaint; the device needs a do-not-disturb function so it doesn't ring and interrupt my music with incoming calls. Even with my iPhone set to silent and/or do-not-disturb, the Bose speaker always rings for all to hear. This is extremely annoying when listening to music. Because of this, I rated it "poor" on compatibility.

This is nicely built and sounds good/great, but the issue that makes me not buy one (I'm trialling a friend's unit) is that if it's connected to the TV and the power outlet, it hums/buzzes a LOT. I've tried using a USB/USB charging cable as well as USB/AC to no avail. It's still excessively noisy. Unplug the power and it's fine. So I'm guessing that the power supply and the audio circuit aren't as isolated as they should be, which is audio design 101, so I'm not too forgiving of Bose for letting this through. I'll be looking elsewhere unfortunately, as I thought this would be a quick win. PS This review form doesn't submit on Firefox.
