I bought this about a month ago and i'm very happy with it. The sound is really great for the size of the speaker. It's a lot smaller than it looks, but the sound is wonderful. Plenty of bass and dialogue for the price. This is a good speaker for Music and Speech, but falls a bit short on action movies because of too much input. The only problem is that the body scratches REALLY easily. I still love it though because of the good control center and Battery life.

Don't believe the Bose website. They claim 10 hours battery while I have managed to use the product for up to 20 hours provided I listen 6-8 hours per day at about 50% volume for close to 3-4 days in a row. Great sound, great base, very loud, great design and great build, Very good speaker

I've been using this for about 6 months on my desktop on an extended overseas trip. I've tried a handful of others before this, but all have paled in comparison. The sound is fantastic for music. However, I do find it a bit too bass-heavy when watching shows/movies online, when the human voice needs to stand out. I love that the docking base is optional, since the unit itself has a USB charging port.

After a couple weeks I've decided this was a great purchase due to the stellar sound and good battery life in spite of the ten foot maximum range for the Bluetooth connection. Anywhere beyond that and the connection WILL break. Also will break connection at five feet or less frequently.

My mom owns the Soundlink Mini 2 and I was so amazed by the sound quality I bought one for myself! Do yourself a favor and read the owners manual (At bottom of page) and you can see valuable notes that will help you in your decision. For example, it specifically states this speaker is for indoors only. Take a look for yourself and learn a little more about it.

I just bought one of these to use with my MacBook pro. I am returning it! Pairing is a nightmare, It sometimes wont pair unless I go and plug it into charger. Then it wont always turn on. Next, it is TOO much bass. What ever happened to a bass and treble control. There is none on the this piece or on my Macbook, one is stuck with what they get. Given the pairing nightmare and the bass problem, I cant use it! You can read about the pairing problems on the net, it is full of them. Supposedly it can go inot a battery protect mode and some time of no use and then you are suppose to plug it into charger to remedy that, but i was using it from day to day and it still would not pair or turn on until I plugged it into the charger. SErious problems with the design and softwarel. I have a set of Bose Headphones and they pair up fairly easily with my devices.

I have "borrowed" my hubby's MiniBose for my office, we've played it in summer cabins, (Blue Tooth capabilities rock)and outdoors in the gazebo with grandkids jumping on the trampoline. Long recharable time and fills a whole room indoors. Might buy one just a bit larger to connect to TV for bigger sounds and a little more base. Bought My first set of Bose 901 Speakers in 1974 at an overseas military B-Ex. They are the only brand I trust for deep, full, clear sound.

I have a small and a Big Jambox but this speaker beats them both. It is better looking, convenient to put on my workbench shelf and the sound matches even the Big Jambox. Bose has done it again, as you might expect. Good job Bose. I bought the soft case as well, adds to the look and also protects the speaker. I especially like the charging station as I can pick it up and go without having to unplug and then plug back in. As I need reading classes, I no longer have to find my glasses to charge tthe speaker.

I received this soundlink mini II serval months ago and it has worked great, I love the sound quality. I own serval Bose products QC15, QC35, Companion speakers. the past few days I've been listening to it and its been making a vibrating sound as if a speaker is blown (but it all works). I really don't know what to do about it, I don't blast my music so there's no way the speaker or something inside could be making the raddling should when the base is sounding.

I love this speaker .. I use it when i go out or when im at home .. The battery lasts me for a good week and half .. I recomend this speaker for any one .. Best sound and high quality meterials .. I trust bose and cant go wrong with them .. Best for your money i would say.
