There are very few products I review, but when something is a great as this I have to. I have had this speaker for a couple years now and it’s just as good as the day I took it out the box. The quality and battery life is awesome and it’s one of those products that when you hold it feels sturdy. It seems like Bose created this speaker to last

A very small easily transportable speaker with incredible sound. I have yet to use it outside due to weather, but inside it sounds like speakers multiple times the size. Easy to use, easy to link. simple controls and as mentioned above sounds incredible for portable sound.

After powering the speaker, I would like to save battery power or I may have a call come in and do not want the speaker on at all. I have seen several people post asking how to shut it off. The answer is always the same - press on the power button. In doing this, the speaker states how much of the power is left. “ Battery 90%” - but it will not shut down. Apparently the only option is to let it auto shut off after wasting 30 minutes of battery or disconnecting my iPhone. This is a glitch that Bose should repair. If anything else happens like a text comes through - it waits Another 30 minutes!!!

The speaker quality is amazing! Indoors that is, outside is not horrible but could use some tweaks, AS well as volume, wish it was a little louder. Comparatively speaking to other competitors (JBL Charge, Beats Pill) I would recommend the Bose by far! I've had both competitors, (Beats Pill Was a Joke,JBL Volume louder, Bose Deeper and Crisp, Clear notes) but if Bose implemented a few adjustments this would be 5 stars no doubt! Over all , satisfied and would recommend and we'll worth the money

I have a 24ft sailboat and am not plagued with loud engine noises, but also didn't want to have to make holes in my cabin to insert speakers and really didn't want to have to add another drain on my battery system. Voila!! Enter the Bose Soundlink. Fits perfectly in a side compartment (out of the way) and the sounds are absolutely amazing!! We like softer cruising music with lots of guitars. The crispness of the treble and warmth of the bass cannot be beat. All of our friends have asked us about the sound system, thinking it must be large in size and in cost. When I show them the Bose Soundlink, they just can't believe the quality and clarity from such a small package, especially outdoors!!! We usually sail anywhere from 2-5 hours and have no problems at all with power. Thank you Bose!!

I bought the SoundLink Mini speaker ten months ago and it stopped working six months later. It will not turn on at all even after plugging in for 12 hours. I have tried everything recommended online by Techs and other owners with no success I have owned other Bose products and still do so it is very disappointing this product is not a quality one.

I've had the original Soundlink-Mini for over a year, and I'm always amazed at the sound quality, even though I wished it had speakerphone capability and a battery meter. My wishes come true in the Mini II, at the same price! Now I need to give my old one as a gift, and get the improved version. Someone is about to get lucky! By the way, folks who have volume issues, first turn up the volume on your source (e.g., cell phone).

I bought this speaker on Christmas 2015, thus I am using it for a little more than one year and I absolutely love it. I wanted a small portable speaker with decent audio quality because I noticed that at home I do a lot of casual music listening with my portable devices that carry with me in every room, I listened to this product in a store and both my wife and I liked it right away. Before buying it I listened to other speakers in the same category, at the end I decided for this because I own another Bose product (the SoundWave) and for its pleasant aesthetic. I really like the sound of this little guy, you just cannot squeeze nothing more from something so small. Sometimes the bass are a little too overpowering but it is sufficient to change its position to get a more balanced sound. Of course because the two internal drivers are so close to each other you don't get any stereo separation, unless you pair to a computer and you put it right close to the keyboard. It is easy to use, easy to pair. There is no mic therefore you cannot use it to make calls if you are using a smartphone, but I do not need that feature. I appreciate that it remembers a lot of pairing devices, between me and my wife we have many smartphones, tablets and laptops around, it never failed to connect to any of them. Battery life is great, the charging cradle could be a nuisance if you travel (you just have to carry it with you instead of a simple USB cable), maybe this issue could be fixed in a next release. The look is great, we have the dark gray one and it is really non intrusive even on the bed stand where we put the charging cradle. It is small enough that fits well in the hand, the material is made of has a nice touch feeling. The bottom had a thick rubber pad to avoid scratching the surface where it stands, but it easily collects dust and small particles, I usually scrap it passing the palm of my hand before setting it down. Everything considered, I highly recommend this product.

This is just what I was looking for to move around the house and listen to music from my android phone, using the blue tooth. I also use it to listen to my local radio stations when I'm traveling in the car, streaming it through my Android's bluetooth. Excellent sound quality and range.

Love the sound and portability of my new mini I got 2 weeks ago- it has worked great taking to dance class, but has a mind of its own at home when I plug in my old iPod via the Aux connection. It will randomly stop playing music on its own, and I have to hit the power button a few times to get it to play again. Has been fully charged, so I am not sure what is going on. I will be disappointed if I have to return it.
