I went on the search for a Bluetooth speaker for my college apartment after listening to both a Harman Kardon and the Soundlink Mini. I am SO thrilled with this purchase and I'm so glad I chose the Soundlink over any other speaker. This speaker is simply incredible and if you're unsure whether to purchase it or not, you won't be disappointed. It's sleek, portable, looks awesome, and the sound is even more than I expected out of a Bose. Very happy customer!

Having spent a very long time deciding on which wireless speaker to go for, I've opted for the SoundLink Mini II, though it was a hard decision to make. Bose deserve top marks for Sound Quality and Styling, both of which on the SoundLink Mini II would deserve 5 stars. However, the unit is let down by it's limited functionality. I really wanted to have the option to pair two units and run them in stereo (a function offered by a leading competitor) and I'm very disappointed that this revised updated mark II Bose won't do that ? (I'd just assumed that it would so as to keep up with the competition). So only 4 Stars awarded. If it had the software to allow pairing two units to run together in stereo then it would have got 5 Stars from me.

I am very pleased with this speaker. I am using it at my cubicle at work, and it is amazing. I can go from quiet for just my cubicle, or loud enough for the whole mail room! It has amazing sound, and works perfect for anything! I will be using this for the entire Holiday Potluck for the Whole Office as well!

I've had this bose soundlink mini for a year- most of this time it has been a good speaker that suited my needs. It has started randomly turning off even when fully charged. It has nothing to do with the automatic shut off that effects it after periods of inactivity. It turns off 2 minutes into a tv show, after playing one song in Spotify, you name it. The reason I'm writing this here is because there seems to be little info on how to fix/correct this issue that is getting worse.

I've had my Bose SoundLink Mini II for 18 months. Great sound and convenience of use, but it no longer works because of the charging system. Over a period of 2-3 months it quit charging and once the battery went dead, so did the speaker. I tried to replace the battery after removing from the unit, but its not interchangeable. I've tried 1/2 dozen different USB charging cables to no avail.

I was on the hunt for a small portable unit with decent sound, projection, and long battery life. I listened to dozens of other portables that varied in size, performance, and price range. This unit won hands down. I am very satisfied with the battery life, as that is important to me. Seems like I get the full 10 hours out of it, although so far I only use it for 30 minutes to an hour or so at a time, so I haven’t really kept that close tabs on it. I mainly use it in close proximity, and never expected it to be anything more than for my personal enjoyment. In other words, I never expected it to be something to drive a party. It’s perfect for the office, garage, small gathering, or on my old work truck dashboard. As someone else mentioned, it “isn't terribly stereo”, but I am satisfied with the apparent ‘depth’ of the sound image. This unit meets/exceeds my expectations as a small portable system. It sounds great, has a substantial feel to it, and appears well built.

A Bose Fan since the original "901's," after listening to "other" blue tooth mini's including the "Soundlink III," (some costing less) for me the choice was clear. The sound and portability of the Soundlink Mini Series 2 was superior at varying volume levels and music genres. Extremely satisfied with this purchase.

Purchase yesterday. fully charge overnight, connected with Mac Pro, listen for 3 hr then Bluetooth just simply quit connecting. Reset unit and laptop as per instruction, but it just doesn't want to connect (16 inches away). The sound was rich and powerful WHEN it CONNECTED but it just simply quit and it is been silent since then. Disappointed in the QA & QC of the product, at this time I can only give a Fair assessment in the quality and durability until I can rectify the problem of Bluetooth until then it will remain low. I will further comment on the battery once I have used the unit. I must say this is the only Boss product that failed me severally.

I've been using Bose speakers for over 20 years now and they never seize to amaze me. Such a great company that provides such amazing speakers. I had the Soundlink Mini before I got the II and I didn't think the quality of sound could be any better than it was but Bose always seems to find a way. I take this thing almost everywhere with me, especially when I go hiking or hangout by the pool. Having the bigger battery life and usb port make such a difference compared to the Soundlink I. I also have a portable charger that I can hook up to so I really don't have to worry about battery life anymore. This is one of my favorite new features. This speaker is awesome and there is no comparison when it comes to quality of sound to any Beats speaker out there. If you're looking for great sound and can afford it buy it now!

This is just what I was looking for to move around the house and listen to music from my android phone, using the blue tooth. I also use it to listen to my local radio stations when I'm traveling in the car, streaming it through my Android's bluetooth. Excellent sound quality and range.
