This is my first Bose product and I have to say that I love it. I got it so I could have a speaker I could easily carry with me and so far this speaker has preformed above expectations. It can get pretty loud and has surprisingly good bass. The speaker feels like it is made with some kind of metal and feels very durable. I have even dropped it once and my speaker still looks and sounds as good as the day I got it. It's heavier then it looks but not hard to carry around. The sound on this thing truly is amazing. The sound is crystal clear and the speaker seems to hit both highs and lows and everything in-between without struggling. I think anybody who buys one of these speakers will be happy with their purchase.

I went on the search for a Bluetooth speaker for my college apartment after listening to both a Harman Kardon and the Soundlink Mini. I am SO thrilled with this purchase and I'm so glad I chose the Soundlink over any other speaker. This speaker is simply incredible and if you're unsure whether to purchase it or not, you won't be disappointed. It's sleek, portable, looks awesome, and the sound is even more than I expected out of a Bose. Very happy customer!

I just got the sound link mini II after owning the sound link mini 1 for almost a year. I made the switch after my sound link mini 1 stopped function all of sudden this past weekend after a flawless year ( I was 100% satisfied with sound link mini 1, AMAZING SOUND ! ), the issue I had was, after using it for about 6 hrs straight the battery died, so I plugged it to recharge like I normally would do, and instead of charging I would get a fast blinking red light. So I took it to get serviced and they replaced it with a new one but they only had the new sound link mini II. So at first I was real happy because I was getting the new upgraded model with finally the ability to recharge via USB , but I was disappointed to find out once I starting to use it that the BASS has noticeably reduced ! Is that how Bose decided to increase battery life ? Reducing the energy consuming BASS ?? I was expecting either improved or equivalent sound with upgraded features. I am really disappointed with the BASS reduction. I loved the deep rich heavy bass the sound link mini 1 had. It was mind blowing how that little speaker sounded. The new sound link mini II sounds dry and punchy, it sounds like little speakers, when it used to be little speakers in disguise because the sound was BIG. Other then that the high end is almost identical sounding. The new features are great, USB charging, extended battery life, speaker phone function. Overall I give it - 4 stars, and give the sound link mini 1 - 5 stars BRING BACK THE BASS PLEASE ( BOSE please make a firmware update that allows you to equalize the unit like the first soundlink mini )

Sound of Bose SoundLink 2 is perfect, but if I paused audio/video for 1 minute and pushed play button again then the sound starts to be interrupted and all settings are responding late. I have to turn off the SoundLink and re-connect after switching to the normal playback. This problem when it connected with laptop. Bose Updater can't install the update: "Connection with your Bose® product was unexpectedly lost. Please try rebooting your product and performing the update again." Rebooting the device does not help. There were no problems with the SoundLink 1 paired with the same laptop. I hope soon to solve the problem. Out of my problem. I would like to be able to correct the equalizer settings for the Bose SoundLink 2. Sometimes the bass too much or they are very deep. For everybody - buy the Save soft cover! Thanks.

i received this speaker as a gift from my family, as a bose person i have the home theater sistem 5.1 also the sound bar , considering bose as a top product, but i am very disappointed with the sound quality of this product, very sweet sound, lacking treble and crispy quality sound, i compared the sound with other product similar to bose bluetooh soundlink and the majority had better quality sound for even a lower price, i would not buy it , my family did.. if i could return it i will be glad to... it is not worth the price for the quality of sound, waste of money !!..

I purchased the Mini II on Christmas Eve. First couple days wasn't sure I liked it, but by the third day, i was hooked. Hard to believe the great sound coming from such a small cabinet.,,,After reading the rave reviews for the Soundlink III i decided to check it out, was not impressed and returned it to store. The mini II definitely rocks over the Soundlink III. Very satisfied!

There's a reason this product has been discontinued by Bose. I've had mine for less than 3 years and I can't even get through 2 songs before the thing shuts off on its own. The first year and a half it worked fine (unless it got too hot in the sun, which is understandable), so that's why I give this product 2 stars, but after that, the shutting off has gotten more and more frequent. This device was purchased for me because of the reputation of quality that Bose has. We are seriously disappointed.

I've had the original Soundlink-Mini for over a year, and I'm always amazed at the sound quality, even though I wished it had speakerphone capability and a battery meter. My wishes come true in the Mini II, at the same price! Now I need to give my old one as a gift, and get the improved version. Someone is about to get lucky! By the way, folks who have volume issues, first turn up the volume on your source (e.g., cell phone).

I'm so happy that i bought the sound link mini 2. It has the best quality and clear sound and the bass is also clear. It is also safe to use it at a sandy beach be careful of water but sand doesn't go inside the speaker. the best way to use the speaker is inside but still if you take it outside its still has clear sound and for a small speaker like that it is still the best speaker.

I have owned several high end speakers, including the cheaper knockoff and highly overpriced Beats and this is by far the best yet.This speaker is amazing! The sound volume is great and the sound quality is fantastic. The build is awesome as well, very solid and durable speaker. From 1 to 10 in ease of use and set up i give it a 1 (1 being the easiest) Don't believe reviews that say that it is complicated. If you have used bluetooth before then it will be even easier than other items, if you have not then of course it will be tricky but still easy. The bluetooth is literally one button one press and whatever setup is on your phone and you are done. I am very happy and very highly recommend this item.
