Purchased the Bose Soundlink Mini II a few weeks, and gotta say, it's worth every penny. The sound is tremendous for a speaker so compact. You can tell it has some serious drivers due to it being rather weighty, which explains the robust sound. No, the sound and bass won't shatter any windows, as it is a small compact speaker, but my goodness, I assure you you'll be impressed by the rich sound. Every single person that hears it is shocked that the sound is coming from those speakers. I bring the Soundlink Mini II everywhere I go. It's one of the best investments I've made in recent memory. I highly recommend!

Sound quality is excellent and is the best in it's class or even anything double to triple the size. Very accurate reproducing sound with excellent detail. Seems identical in sound quality to the first mini which is perfectly ok. The new features are welcomed but still lacking a couple things. Would really like to see the ability to link 2 of these together. Bose, you will sell more speakers to you do this, make it happen. The soundlink 3 is a little louder (at triple the size it should be) but I think the mini sounds better overall.

This was a gift from my boss less then a year ago and I really didn't know what it was but when I brought it he hubby was excited we tried it and LOVED it. It has awesome sound and bass but now it doesn't keep a charge and we were really sad we try charging it and won't even charge anymore. It was great while it lasted.

This has been my favorite speaker by far! I use it all the time! It is really loud and it sounds amazing! Easy to use, and perfect size to take anywhere. Love this speaker! However, recently, I've been having trouble with the bluetooth connection, and the battery life is now shorter.. Bose, what can I do to fix this??

I bought this a month ago because my friend has the original. We love opera and the sounds from the Mini II is richer for that music. However, we were disappointed that when we use it off the charging stand or unplugged the energy saving mode keeps us from turning the volume high enough to enjoy an expected blasting from the instruments. I can't get enough volume with the + key. I also can't get enough volume from the unit when it's plugged in and Bluetooth connected to my lap top. I wasn't told that volume compromise was necessary with this choice. Or maybe I got a defective unit? Or maybe I'm not doing something right.

The battery/charge controller fails completely just after warranty rendering them inoperable even if on charging base or if plugged in. Can you believe that! Even when it is plugged into the wall power source it does not work, that is a huge mistake! I am not an expert just a simple customer who put their trust into a good brand! The option is to buy a new battery which is expensive and not a good reflection on what i once viewed as a quality brand.

Had this speaker a couple of months now and have learned to deal with the nuisances. Happy enough with the overall sound quality, but disappointed with the battery life. 10hrs is optimistic at best. Perhaps if you play at low levels, but I'm lucky if I get 5hrs, which leads me to my biggest gripe. Why would you have a USB port that doesn't let you charge while you listen?

This is my first Bose product and I have to say that I love it. I got it so I could have a speaker I could easily carry with me and so far this speaker has preformed above expectations. It can get pretty loud and has surprisingly good bass. The speaker feels like it is made with some kind of metal and feels very durable. I have even dropped it once and my speaker still looks and sounds as good as the day I got it. It's heavier then it looks but not hard to carry around. The sound on this thing truly is amazing. The sound is crystal clear and the speaker seems to hit both highs and lows and everything in-between without struggling. I think anybody who buys one of these speakers will be happy with their purchase.

My friend has a Soundlink Mini and I have admired hers for a long time. I finally got my own and I love it! It’s so simple to set up and I began playing music immediately. It has a powerful and mighty sound and I’m so happy this speaker gets to stay with me! Music is crisp, clear, deep and rich. I tried a variety of songs to showcase low to high notes - good vibrations and nothing sounds runny and weak! Thank you Bose for developing such an amazing speaker.

Just got this little wonder for Christmas, and WOW! it's quite small, but sounds fabulous. Fantastic design, the first thing you notice is how heavy it is, which acoustically speaking is a very good sign. The charge dock is brilliant, as it functions as an acoustic isolation pad. It sounds really good even when you crank it up. Obviously you aren't going to fill a stadium with it, but you could disturb the neighbors for sure :-) Definitely recommend this over the others I've heard.
