It's a good quality speaker, but doesn't go loud enough for me. I agree with one review with the charging unit. Could be just a USB to be more versatile. Also the range of the blue tooth is horrible. Shortest range of any speaker I've seen. It's like 15 ft. Also my wife and I have to disconnect our blue tooth after using so the next person can get it to play. It locks it the the one phone unless blue tooth is shut of. Not a big deal. But a bit of a pain when she leaves and I can't get on.

This is a great product. I had the Mini 1 and decided to get the Mini 2 because of the new features and I love the Carbon color. My only issue is that the speaker does not charge via the USB from my laptop computer. I thought this was a feature that the unit was capable of. My laptop is running windows 10 and it has a dedicated USB charge port that charges even when the laptop is turned off. I can't figure this out. Please advise Bose.

I purchased the SoundLink Mini II as an upgrade to version 1 mainly for the newly added feature of the speakerphone. While the sound is excellent, just like the previous generation, the unit I received doesn't seem to charge beyond 80%. I left it plugged in and charging overnight and when I checked the next morning it still says battery is 80%. Maybe mine is defective?

I bought this when it was just launched two years ago during my US trip. I don't think there is any review on this speaker yet at the time I bought it. No regret buying. Fantastic sound especially when it's placed against wall with few inches, good bass and musical soundstage. Convenient to bring along as traveling companion is a plus.

First of all I would like to say that I absolutely love this speaker! I have now owned 12 other bluetooth speakers, some were portable and some were not so portable. I love, love, love music! I listen to music every day when I get home from work. Sometimes it's 90s music, sometimes blues and jazz, sometimes it's country. I love all sorts of music and listening to a quality speaker helps me wind down everyday. I own a Harmon Kardon reliever and Klipsch towers for listening to music and watching movies, but what I love about this speaker is that I can use it outside on the deck, or in the bedroom. I actually use it to listen to jazz every night when I go to bed. What I love about this speaker is how the the sound is. It sounds great with every type of music I've listened to, but where it really shines is when I'm listening to vocals and instrumentals. I have never heard a saxophone or trumpet sound so lifelike. The depth and tone of this speaker is just awesome. I could go on and on about how great this speaker is, and how great the battery is, but if you are here reading reviews and trying to decide to buy this or not I seriously urge you to pick one up and try it at home for yourself. What have you got to loose? If it's not the BEST speaker you have ever heard in its size class, then simply return it. If you do decide to buy one though, be prepared to fall in love with it....

I have Soundlink Mini II and the sound is amazing and the speaker is great to travel with and use outdoors. The problem is that the battery on this is terrible. Bose replaced my first one and sent me a new one, but the same battery problem exists. It takes two days to charge and the battery drains when using the speaker even when it is plugged in. If they fix the battery issue, this would be the best value anywhere.

I bought my mini about 5 weeks prior to the release of the mini II,sure would like that ability to answer calls over the speaker. Anyway my girlfriend is hooked on my mini.Well I'm not a joint custody kinda guy.So I just bought her her own for Christmas. Only wish is that they make a pretty purple cover for it as well.Maybe a Lavender

I bought this speaker for my desk. It was easy to set up, small, and I was very pleased with the sound. However, after about nine months, it stopped working. The speaker won't charge. I've tried resetting it, updating the firmware, and following their troubleshooting guide, but nothing has fixed the problem. I guess I'll call Bose and try to get it fixed. This speaker was more expensive than any other brand, so it should last longer than a year.

I just purchased the Bose mini sound link II limited edition. To be honest I was expecting more sound. after charging the speaker and looking through the manual i really wanted to find a solution to the sound , don't get me wrong the sound is good but I heard better from the competition i really wish this speaker would be capable of having a louder sound , it really bugs me that the bose speaker isn't independently uses its own volume it automatic used the volume of my I phone 6 plus

Haved owned this for over 1 year, love the awesome sound & portability. Sadly with a 70% charge it got stuck with red flashing light indicating battery protection mode/low battery. I plugged into my imac and updated software & hope it will be more stable. After googling, I have discovered this seems to be a common issue. Fabulous sound but buyer beware...
