Don't believe the Bose website. They claim 10 hours battery while I have managed to use the product for up to 20 hours provided I listen 6-8 hours per day at about 50% volume for close to 3-4 days in a row. Great sound, great base, very loud, great design and great build, Very good speaker

For almost 2 years, I've used this speaker daily. I carry it from room to room, leave it in the kitchen and clearly hear in back of the house, carry it to work and plug into a computer for classroom use. It's great with classical, jazz, swing, country, and classic rock, audio books, podcasts, tv, It's well worth every penny paid for it and so incredibly versatile!

Thank you for your wonderful sound of music. My beautiful 94 year-old Mom loves to watch classical music performances on her iPad. The deep, rich sound of the SoundLink Mini II brings the orchestra into the cozy comforts of her home. One thought: You may want to consider buttons with a "clicking sensation" for each interval of sound. I believe this would give customers more control with the volume and mute settings. I just purchased my second Soundlink Mini II. This one is for my office, it is the speaker for my computer, streaming radio, bluetooth in from my phone for more music, or speaker phone for my iPhone when i have my landline headset on. The first one is used around the house, in the garage, on the boat and in our RV trailer. It has great sound and bass. The bass is better when you have a wall behind it to reflect the bass. It does not get as loud as my Sounddocks when being used outdoors.The Sounddocks are much richer sounding in a very large room or outdoors, and the Sounddock have more volume. But in our house in a 30' x 25' great room with 10' ceilings (and smaller rooms) the Soundlink Mini is perfect. I'm 50 now and enjoy 70's to 90's rock, modern country when I'm in the mood, and my teenager's alternative music on the Mini as well. I'll be getting a third for my daughter when I send her off to her college dorm in the fall, more compact and portable than the Sounddock in her bedroom now.

The speaker works very similarly to my Bose Soundlink around ear headphones. Connecting to my iPhone and MacBook is pretty easy, and both devices can be connected to the speaker at the same time. Every so often I will need to manually connect, but it works automatically the majority of the time. It would be nice to be able to change the name of this speaker. I have two Soundlink Mini II speakers, and my iPhone shows two speakers in the sound menu without differentiating between the two. My bose headphones have an app on my phone that allows me to update the firmware, change the name, and change some basic settings. Allowing this speaker to work with that app or a similar app would be fantastic. All in all, I am happy with the product and definitely recommend it.

I've had this for about one month and love the sound quality and ease of use. I have been struggling with charging it recently though. Even though the indicator light says the unit is charging it doesn't progress past "battery low" or occasionally it's reaches 20% even after charging overnight. I tried the reset suggestion mentioned above but it didn't work for me. Other suggestions?

I have had several speakers from Bose, from speakers in my car to this one, I love the clear sound that Bose speakers give you, however I was disappointed with the bass. Bose says it sounds great, but I found it couldn't handle a lower pitch bass but the high pitched bass sound it has is phenomenal! Thanks again Bose!

I received this as a gift from someone I know personally from the company and i LOVED it. The bass is amazing and i reccomend it for anyone who likes to listen to music a lot and it is very loud. it is one of the best bose items I have, aside my Bose Quitecomfort 35 and computer speakers. The best sounding Bluetooth speaker! I’ve had this speaker for a year now. The base is fantastic, battery life is excellent and it absolutely fills the room with sound. It connects to my iPhone seconds after turning it on every single time. This is true but Bose quality.

Had this speaker a couple of months now and have learned to deal with the nuisances. Happy enough with the overall sound quality, but disappointed with the battery life. 10hrs is optimistic at best. Perhaps if you play at low levels, but I'm lucky if I get 5hrs, which leads me to my biggest gripe. Why would you have a USB port that doesn't let you charge while you listen?
