I bought this speaker just over a year ago. I keep it at work and don't use it very often. I come back from being on vacation and find that it won't take charge. The light blinks as if it is charging but after being plugged in for 8 hours it still says battery low when turned on. I am very disappointed!!!

Not a good value at 150 dollars. Very bass heavy sound, especially at courteous listening levels. No equalizer function. So bass heavy as to wash out the otherwise great mid-range and treble sound quality. No good in my apartment where I am trying to NOT disturb neighbors. Only sounds good turned up loud in large spaces. Instruction manual is a joke and does not address details such as optimal placement for best sound. Weighs a ton. Accessory carrying case costs a fortune. Bought JBL Flip 4 for half what I paid for this and I now I don't want use this Bose. Don't know what to do with this brick now.

Bought this speaker back in December of 2015, received it a couple of weeks later and instantly loved it. Now having the speaker for over a year, I can confidently say for the price I paid and the quality I get, I'm not disappointed. There is a tiny issue with the speaker not turning on at times, but I just plug the speaker into an AC power supply and it turns on fine.

I've had my Bose speaker for a while now but I have to keep it plugged in all the time now because it doesn't stay charged. I use it may be 10 hours a week but by the end of an hour training session its down from 100% to 70%, and by the end of my second session it s at 40%?? I'm even using the charging cable it came with??

I previously left a poor review on this product when mine stopped working after a while. Given its price, I figured it would last a long time. Bose support emailed me after seeing my review and provided technical assistance. They did everything possible to help me fix it, even sent new cords, but it was broken beyond repair. They sent me a completely new speaker free of charge after I sent in the old one. I received great service, and the new speaker works great. The sound is really good, and the bluetooth connects better than it did before.

I’ve owned this speaker for two years and I’ve hated it almost the entire time. It is incredibly finicky: unreliable bluetooth connection, randomly announces its connection to devices repeatedly, skips occasionally, and at this moment refuses to connect to my iphone. The sound quality does not outweigh the frustration, not worth investing. I’ve never felt compelled to review anything before, but I’m so angry at this stupid thing right now that it felt like a disservice to keep it to myself.

Have been a Bose customer for decades. I bought the Soundlink Mini II a few weeks back ... Wow! Great sound ... very impressive range. First song up, Pink Floyd's Shine on You Crazy Diamond, sounded great. Like the ability to have the Mini II paired to multiple devices. Portability is better than my previous SoundLink Speaker and honestly, think the Mini II sounds just as good. Highly recommended to family and friends.

As a real estate agent, I wanted something light and portable but with ease of use plus sound quality and aesthetics to impress. I wasn't expecting to find it so useful for so many other things and for the sound quality to be so good, even after trying every product in the shop and settling on the Soundlink Mini II. This unit offers very clear vocals and tight bass. I was suspicious that the demo cabinet might provide unrealistically good bass in the shop but no. Jazz on the beach, Christmas music around the house, a beautiful addition to my Mac setup or a portable upgrade to hotel televisions and vehicles without Bluetooth audio, and even wonderful background sounds turns al fresco dining into a five-star experience. After the first few days of my wife wanting me to bring out the Soundlink so often, I now know better than to wait to be asked. I could honestly say that I could see a two-unit configuration, a la Kef Muo, replacing my receiver and 2.1 speaker setup - only a broader stereo base is all I could want for my large TV. I'm so glad I bought the travel case as well - the rubber protective cover I also bought was discoloured and not "adult" enough, especially without an option for black trim for my pearl model, so I sent that back and use it without. After months of being on the fence about the value of such a purchase, I am so glad I pulled the trigger before the holidays. I look forward to finally trying it at work - which is, after all, why I thought I was buying it in the first place.

Took it out of the box and I was a bit disappointed , it was small! BUT.... I pushed play ... and was stunned .. all I could think was.... WOW...... such amazing sound in a tiny box .. Bose is amazing .. and I received it in 1 day .. literally. Every time I pay for extra shipping it NEVER comes in on time.. but Bose delivered! I'm super happy ...

This is the third bluetooth speaker that I have owned. It is clearly the best sounding speaker of the three but in my opinion it has a major flaw. The bluetooth connection ends if nothing is played for 30 minutes. This feature makes sense when it is off the charger and you want to conserve the battery. While on the charger it should allow you to keep the connection. With my other portable speakers I can set my alarm to music and it will play through the speaker, even after eight hours.
