I love everything about the Bose mini but when it's plugged into my computer OR on battery, and I show a video to an audience about an hour into my presentation, the sound isn't there. I have to hit the on/off button again and it says (in front of the whole audience loudly) 95% battery left, etc. How do I keep the speaker from kicking off?

1 month outside of the warranty and the battery stops working - either in the cradle or plugged directly into the mains the device will not charge. Incredibly disappointing from what was an expensive purchase and a company I have previously had excellent service from. Will not be purchasing Bose again unless their loyalty to their customers improves and the batteries in these clearly faulty devices are replaced.

As a real estate agent, I wanted something light and portable but with ease of use plus sound quality and aesthetics to impress. I wasn't expecting to find it so useful for so many other things and for the sound quality to be so good, even after trying every product in the shop and settling on the Soundlink Mini II. This unit offers very clear vocals and tight bass. I was suspicious that the demo cabinet might provide unrealistically good bass in the shop but no. Jazz on the beach, Christmas music around the house, a beautiful addition to my Mac setup or a portable upgrade to hotel televisions and vehicles without Bluetooth audio, and even wonderful background sounds turns al fresco dining into a five-star experience. After the first few days of my wife wanting me to bring out the Soundlink so often, I now know better than to wait to be asked. I could honestly say that I could see a two-unit configuration, a la Kef Muo, replacing my receiver and 2.1 speaker setup - only a broader stereo base is all I could want for my large TV. I'm so glad I bought the travel case as well - the rubber protective cover I also bought was discoloured and not "adult" enough, especially without an option for black trim for my pearl model, so I sent that back and use it without. After months of being on the fence about the value of such a purchase, I am so glad I pulled the trigger before the holidays. I look forward to finally trying it at work - which is, after all, why I thought I was buying it in the first place.

It sounds great. Need to keep device much closer than 30 feet. I also have bose 301, bose outdoor speakers, wave radio /cd plsyer and audio wireless bluetooth. Great product and customer service is very knowledgeable and if you have a problem, they will make it right.

I never thought I would buy Bose products and I did cause my beats pill broke way to quick in just a month for it costing 300 back then, and I was in search for a good speaker and that's when I got the Bose sound link mini, it was a great purchase, I had the little speaker for about 4 years and it sounds great to to this day still, it has a couple of scratches and dings but still works the same after so many years.

I love this Bose! It’s so tiny, but the sound is so large. The sound and bass are impressive for its size. Portable, great battery life, easily compatible with my iPhone and my boyfriend’s LG, and is just overall great. The only thing is that it does scratch easily, so if you are going to bring it around places with you, I’d suggest purchasing one of the protective covers. :) Overall, awesome product and well worth the money!

I purchased the Mini II on Christmas Eve. First couple days wasn't sure I liked it, but by the third day, i was hooked. Hard to believe the great sound coming from such a small cabinet.,,,After reading the rave reviews for the Soundlink III i decided to check it out, was not impressed and returned it to store. The mini II definitely rocks over the Soundlink III. Very satisfied!

Sound of Bose SoundLink 2 is perfect, but if I paused audio/video for 1 minute and pushed play button again then the sound starts to be interrupted and all settings are responding late. I have to turn off the SoundLink and re-connect after switching to the normal playback. This problem when it connected with laptop. Bose Updater can't install the update: "Connection with your Bose® product was unexpectedly lost. Please try rebooting your product and performing the update again." Rebooting the device does not help. There were no problems with the SoundLink 1 paired with the same laptop. I hope soon to solve the problem. Out of my problem. I would like to be able to correct the equalizer settings for the Bose SoundLink 2. Sometimes the bass too much or they are very deep. For everybody - buy the Save soft cover! Thanks.

My friend has a Soundlink Mini and I have admired hers for a long time. I finally got my own and I love it! It’s so simple to set up and I began playing music immediately. It has a powerful and mighty sound and I’m so happy this speaker gets to stay with me! Music is crisp, clear, deep and rich. I tried a variety of songs to showcase low to high notes - good vibrations and nothing sounds runny and weak! Thank you Bose for developing such an amazing speaker.

I purchased the product in June and took it on vacation to supply music for our group in a cabin that had WiFi. We enjoyed Pandora while in our cabin and also used it by our bonfire each night. It has very good quality sound. No tinny sound for this speaker....it has a robust base quality. We sourced our music from our iPhones, from an iPad, as well as laptop. It worked well whether using plug in connection between devices or Bluetooth. No issues, no delays, just turn on and go. I am very happy with this product! It provides music where I might not otherwise be able to enjoy real sound.
