The speaker quality is amazing! Indoors that is, outside is not horrible but could use some tweaks, AS well as volume, wish it was a little louder. Comparatively speaking to other competitors (JBL Charge, Beats Pill) I would recommend the Bose by far! I've had both competitors, (Beats Pill Was a Joke,JBL Volume louder, Bose Deeper and Crisp, Clear notes) but if Bose implemented a few adjustments this would be 5 stars no doubt! Over all , satisfied and would recommend and we'll worth the money

So I don’t have the second version I have the first version and let me tell you I’m a huge bose fan I bought my bose soundlink mini in octuber 2015 and we’re in 2018 and still going strong the sound is loud and clear I use it religiously and at night I put like nature sound and helps me go to sleep bose is the best I have the bose cinemate 15 and I’m blown away with the power and the quality my sister has the wireless bose headphone and the iPod dock and my dad has the earbuds and so do I and this Friday my brother is getting the bose micro Bluetooth I don’t buy other brand but bose why bc they deliver the best sound ever thank you bose for your hard unstoppable hard work

I got this for Christmas last year from my parents and I kid you not, it is the greatest item I have ever owned. The amount of sound that comes out of this tiny speaker is ridiculous. Please buy. You will not regret your purchase. The sound!!!!! So clear. I do not take it outside because its just too perfect and it sounds best 2-3 inches from a wall. Bose rocks

The speaker behaves differently each time I connect it to my computer. One time it will connect without issue. The next it will take 10 minutes of adjustments to work reliably. The time after that it will connect, but the sound will cut-in and out the entire time. Sometimes I can mess around with settings and fix the problem, and sometimes I have to just give up. All the inconsistencies makes it impossible to recognize the tech problem. The product is unreliable.

I initially purchased a refurbished item, the sound quality was horrible, unlike the store demonstration. I assumed it was because it was refurbished and exchanged it for a new one. Unfortunately, I have had the new unit for approximately 1 week and I am having the same issues of it disconnecting, choppy sound. If I did not live 45 minutes from the Bose, I would exchange for the SoundTouch 10 with hopes that model performs better. This is the first time I have had a horrible experience with Bose.

This is my second SoundLink speaker, but my first "Mini". This thing rocks. Its my favorite of the SoundLink devices I have owned so far. MUCH lighter, and smaller. Probably why it's the called mini. Honestly it sounds better then my old one, while being about two thirds the size and weight. Bluetooth system is also much improved. Switching between devices is way easier with this model.

I take my BSMBII to the golf course and listen to fantastic sound the entire round. I was amazed after the second round without charging the battery (approx 10 hrs) that there was still 30% life remaining. This product sound great both in doors and out! Very pleased...

This is the best speaker I've ever had the pleasure to listen to. It is by far the clearest sound I've ever heard out of anything, and competes easily with professional monitors. The bass is powerful enough to shake the surface it's sitting on and feels VERY tactile in the hand. HOWEVER! This is still a very VERY small machine, and therefore has a very small sound. A previous reviewer who said to place the speaker near a wall is correct, and there are other things that can be done to expand the sound. I recommend this for portability: 10/10. But it cannot replace a good pair of monitors, even though the sound might be as good. Also, remember that this isn't terribly "stereo." Even though is does have two high/mid range drivers, they are so close together physically that it's hard to notice the difference from any distance. In other words, Bose hit it out of the park for clarity and bass. Features all work almost flawlessly as well, but it is still a small bluetooth speaker. It's the BEST small bluetooth speaker in the world, but there you are.

What a purchase! Well worth the money. The sound coming out of this little device is incredible, not to mention the fact that I can take it anywhere I want. The setup was so easy with both of my devices, iPad and iPhone. I purchased the black version of it and just looks very classy! Nice job Bose! you have yet to let me down!

Always been a Bose fan. Loved 1st Gen SoundLink, so brought the 2nd Gen for home office to use speakerphone on it. But speakerphone does not work with other apps like whatsup on my iphone, even after getting the os update. And calls are always have some noise.
