I bought this yesterday after upgrading from my mini 1 I though this will be better. NO. Its gone so much worse. I am so upset I sold my mini 1 that I had to then return this dissapointing mini 2 and then re buy the mink 1 at a more expensive price! What a waste of money seriously. Do not upgrade i warn you all.

I have a 1969 Porsche with the original blaupunkt am/fm stereo and old school speaker. Modifying the sound system devalues the originalty. This speaker is the answer I've been looking for - small enough to place right on the dash and simple to connect with Bluetooth. Now I have 21st Century listening without modifyng anything on the car..Beautiful!

I've had my SLM II since it came out in 2015 and it's been perfect! Fairly light, easy to carry around. Sound is excellent for such a small speaker. No distortion. Have had it for 3 years and in just as good of shape as when I bought it. Also brought it camping a couple years ago and was worried about music being too loud for the neighbours, but the sound control is excellent. Noise was just in the direction away from the neighbours and quiet behind the speaker. Definitely recommend!

I was deciding between this model and the beats pills, but i was looking for sound quality, not design, so I decided for bose, and that was the best choise for me. I rather quality than design. I love my product, i use it for outside and inside. Sound is great, i have no problem with the battery. I love it!

So I don’t have the second version I have the first version and let me tell you I’m a huge bose fan I bought my bose soundlink mini in octuber 2015 and we’re in 2018 and still going strong the sound is loud and clear I use it religiously and at night I put like nature sound and helps me go to sleep bose is the best I have the bose cinemate 15 and I’m blown away with the power and the quality my sister has the wireless bose headphone and the iPod dock and my dad has the earbuds and so do I and this Friday my brother is getting the bose micro Bluetooth I don’t buy other brand but bose why bc they deliver the best sound ever thank you bose for your hard unstoppable hard work

I bought this little speaker about a year ago. I was impressed that it is a solid aluminum case, very hefty you can tell it is well-built. For the small you won't expect it to rattled the windows, but for its size it sounds impressive. it will easily fill a room with clear sound via Bluetooth. I love to listen to music, so it's nice to be able to take it from room to room or even on vacation and you can listen to music anytime you want pretty much anywhere. The built-in battery lasts a long time, many hours of playing at full volume. The connectivity is very easy and user-friendly. It looks pretty cool also.I bought a plastic case for it also to protect it. My only complaint would be the deluxe travel case you can buy as an option for it requires you to have to remove the speaker from it to listen to it. It would be nice if they made it that you could actually just play the speaker without having to unpack it from the travel case every time...but the slim case I bought does work well at protecting it and you could play with that on it at least. Overall, great little speaker, I've had it for a year, and no problems, I play it almost every day.

I bought this speaker on Christmas 2015, thus I am using it for a little more than one year and I absolutely love it. I wanted a small portable speaker with decent audio quality because I noticed that at home I do a lot of casual music listening with my portable devices that carry with me in every room, I listened to this product in a store and both my wife and I liked it right away. Before buying it I listened to other speakers in the same category, at the end I decided for this because I own another Bose product (the SoundWave) and for its pleasant aesthetic. I really like the sound of this little guy, you just cannot squeeze nothing more from something so small. Sometimes the bass are a little too overpowering but it is sufficient to change its position to get a more balanced sound. Of course because the two internal drivers are so close to each other you don't get any stereo separation, unless you pair to a computer and you put it right close to the keyboard. It is easy to use, easy to pair. There is no mic therefore you cannot use it to make calls if you are using a smartphone, but I do not need that feature. I appreciate that it remembers a lot of pairing devices, between me and my wife we have many smartphones, tablets and laptops around, it never failed to connect to any of them. Battery life is great, the charging cradle could be a nuisance if you travel (you just have to carry it with you instead of a simple USB cable), maybe this issue could be fixed in a next release. The look is great, we have the dark gray one and it is really non intrusive even on the bed stand where we put the charging cradle. It is small enough that fits well in the hand, the material is made of has a nice touch feeling. The bottom had a thick rubber pad to avoid scratching the surface where it stands, but it easily collects dust and small particles, I usually scrap it passing the palm of my hand before setting it down. Everything considered, I highly recommend this product.

Had this speaker for about 1 1/2 years in my office, repaired once for charging system issue and about 8 months later the same problem developed again. I have a couple of soundlink colors at home that have been extremely reliable. I'm giving up hope for my soundlink 2 and transitioning to a soundlink color for office use. Love Bose products but this one has been a failure.

I got this as a birthday gift 3 weeks ago. I wasn't sure how much I'd use it, but found myself carrying it with me everywhere. When it wasn't with me it's in my home office and use the speaker phone functionality more than I thought...it works great by the way. I'd give it 5 stars, but I'm having problems charging this via USB. I have a brand new HP machine with Windows 10. Other items charge via USB just fine, like a GoPro camera, iphone, etc, but the Soundlink Mini II won't. It will charge off of my old XP machine, and the wall charger of course. Perhaps there's a trick with Windows 10...I'm not sure what to do...

I needed something portable that would fit in my laptop bag and sound great. Like every other Bose product I have (which are many), this one amazed me with it's sound. It sounds stronger and fuller than Soundlink Color, which sounds great on it's own. To think this type of sound can come from something so small is something only Bose could bring to us and at a price that's unbeatable. BEst part is that it has a 3.5 aux connection so I can connect it to my cell at work and save my data. Take that Verizon! It easiy fills my office and bedroom with music. Thank you Bose for putting out this amazing item.
