I just bought one of these to use with my MacBook pro. I am returning it! Pairing is a nightmare, It sometimes wont pair unless I go and plug it into charger. Then it wont always turn on. Next, it is TOO much bass. What ever happened to a bass and treble control. There is none on the this piece or on my Macbook, one is stuck with what they get. Given the pairing nightmare and the bass problem, I cant use it! You can read about the pairing problems on the net, it is full of them. Supposedly it can go inot a battery protect mode and some time of no use and then you are suppose to plug it into charger to remedy that, but i was using it from day to day and it still would not pair or turn on until I plugged it into the charger. SErious problems with the design and softwarel. I have a set of Bose Headphones and they pair up fairly easily with my devices.

For almost 2 years, I've used this speaker daily. I carry it from room to room, leave it in the kitchen and clearly hear in back of the house, carry it to work and plug into a computer for classroom use. It's great with classical, jazz, swing, country, and classic rock, audio books, podcasts, tv, It's well worth every penny paid for it and so incredibly versatile!

I love music, and Bluetooth speakers so its easy to explain this speaker. Sound quality is like no other for it's size and price. For its size it sounds amazing. I like connecting it to my tv and it sounds like a mini home theater system. When people are home I actully have to use a diffrent speaker due to the sound of the rich vocals and amazing bass out put this speaker produces. Great sounding quality with perfect amount of bass. The speaker actully jumps when the bass is hitting lol. Great sound, great sleek look. The last Bluetooth speaker I will buy ever ! When it goes out I'll be buying another one no questions asked !

This is an exceptional speaker, it is portable and the sound it incredible!!!! Use it daily in the kitchen and dining area and just move the speaker from room to room. It has enough capacity to fill a medium sized room with excellent sound quality and bass.

I got this a couple days ago and I am so happy that I did! I saw a lot of speakers that are around this price point/budget and this one spoke to me because it was sleek and elegant. I saw that the sound quality was superb! The pros great highs, balanced mids, and crisp bass. portable cranks up very loud Charging cradle charges with micro usb charger The cons It randomly disconnects occasionally Overall, it's worth the money and you will not regret. You will definitely be impressed at this amazing speaker!

I have only had this version 2 about a month. Sound is great but the power button does not always respond by powering up the unit. Voice always says "battery 100 p/cent" no matter where the charge level is. Downloaded the update and I thought the latter issue was fixed, but it came back. 2 stars deducted for what is probably software issues.

Purchase yesterday. fully charge overnight, connected with Mac Pro, listen for 3 hr then Bluetooth just simply quit connecting. Reset unit and laptop as per instruction, but it just doesn't want to connect (16 inches away). The sound was rich and powerful WHEN it CONNECTED but it just simply quit and it is been silent since then. Disappointed in the QA & QC of the product, at this time I can only give a Fair assessment in the quality and durability until I can rectify the problem of Bluetooth until then it will remain low. I will further comment on the battery once I have used the unit. I must say this is the only Boss product that failed me severally.

Had this speaker for a little over a year (out of warranty). Contacted Bose to see if they'd help me out but she passed me off to the repair center instantly. The battery is completely dead and will not accept a charge or even turn on directly plugged in. Attempted all the recommended troubleshooting steps from the rep and from online forums with no luck. Extremely complicated, push this, push that, numerous procedures with numerous steps just to try too connect devices. Still doesn't function most the time. Thousands of frustrated purchasers who just want to listen to music via Bluetooth without all the complexity or wasted time fidgeting around just to get connected or get device to produce sound ! Don't waste your money or time on Bose, cheaper Bluetooth speakers connect 100 Times easier than Bose dose.....

I bought a Soundlink Mini a couple of years ago and it has been a great companion and it gets a lot of use. From traveling to renovating to house-cleaning. The sound is fabulous, surprisingly loud, and the battery, which I was worried about, is still long lasting. I've used it with iPhone 7, iPhone 6, Samsung Galaxy S5, 2011 iMac, and iPad, (for watching streaming TV when the power is out!)
