I use these earbuds every night to help with tinnitus and a snoring partner. The fit is great and, being a side sleeper, do not bother me when sleeping. There are a couple of issues with them: 1) No volume control 2) Battery life is limited to ~6-8 hours Other than the battery life I can highly recommend these earbuds for sleeping. I also used these on a long-haul flight; despite lacking noise cancellation they performed adequately due to the tight fit.

I’ve found that these earbuds not only block out unwanted noise but also create a peaceful environment conducive to sleep. The battery life is great and allows me to fall asleep to podcasts. Once I’m asleep, they switch over to soothing ambient noises, which helps me stay asleep for longer periods. Additionally, the sleep monitoring feature helps me understand my sleeping patterns better, allowing me to make positive changes for better sleep quality. I got these because I lost my Sleep A10s while traveling. These work fine, but I prefer the design of the A10s. These don’t nestle as deeply in the charging case, with the result that it’s easy to dislodge them while sliding the case shut. And then I don’t realize that that happened until the next night, when I go to use them, and one or both have not charged. This has happened to me several times. The A10s didn’t have this problem.

made sure batteries were up to 100%. Pairing the earbuds was more trouble than I’ve ever had with a wireless device before, taking several attempts before my iPhone finally found them. Once paired, only the left earbud would function, while the right apparently wasn’t even connected to my phone at all according to the app. I tried to reset the headphones, but the instructions said to press the button on the back of the case for 10 seconds and the indicator lights should flash three times, so I tried this; however, the indicator lights never flash no matter how long I hold that button down. Repeatedly forgetting and reconnecting the device did not solve the issue. What audio I did manage get from the left earbud was exceedingly quiet for my expectations and really tinny. Do not buy from soundcore. Spend your money on literally anything else.

My interest in these headphones was high as I have tried multiple sleep headbands and regular headphones to help me fall asleep, stay asleep, and go back to sleep. I have an active brain and a spouse who snores; finding a good headphone solution would help us remain in the same bedroom at night. The features of the A20 headphones are good with the slim fit, noise blocking options, and auto switching white noise. Also, having a phone free control of adjustments is important to not flood myself and spouse with light from the phone if I need to adjust what is playing or make changes to volume. As a user and lover for the Google Pixel Buds Pro with their easy touch controls I looked forward to similar functionality in the A20 Sleep Earbuds. However, the touch controls on the A20 are unusable. They do not work, on either bud, even if pressing hard enough to drive the buds dangerously and uncomfortably into my ear canals. After multiple attempts and testing, even after working with Soundcore support on instructions for proper use, the only way I can get the "touch" controls to work is pinching it between two fingers. Even then the response if erratic at best and requires multiple attempts to use. The next major downfall for me is the white noise. I do like the auto pause of bluetooth audio and switching over to white noise. However, the change over generally wakes me up as the volume is high on the background noise. To remedy this, I spent time adjusting settings including dynamic volume that uses the phone's microphone to adjust based on nearby sounds. Still it is too loud and abrupt plus the loops are short with poor transition between the loop. I could hear the change from the start of the clip to the end and restart every several seconds. The good aspects are the fit and general comfort as a side sleeper. My ears did get hot and I worried about trapping heat and moisture in my ear that could lead to infection or other issues. The case is slick and works well. The app has a lot of options, but is not super user-friendly. I kept finding myself clicking around in multiple places to find what I wanted and discovering that some options are only available when the buds are out or in the case and dependent on the mode they were in. It was frustrating and confusing. If the price was lower I would keep them, but with the price point I don't see enough value and will return it. An update to the app and firmware may go a long way to helping the issues too.

I’d have given these earbuds a five star rating before the recent firmware update. Since then, the charge lasts less time and the new interface is even more obtuse than before. It’s no longer clear how to automatically switch from Bluetooth to white noise after falling asleep, and the charge doesn’t last a full night. Very disappointed.

A previous Bose Sleepbuds owner, I’m 3 nights in wearing the Soundcore Sleep A20 earbuds and these are awesome! Very easy set up, so quick pairing with app and totally user friendly. These are so comfortable, I’m a side sleeper, so many soundscape options as well as AI Brainwave Audio options for meditation/relaxation. The price is half of what I paid for the Bose, and have superior sound and quality. You can use a preset EQ option or create your own if you want to listen to music. They are also equipped with built in sleep analytics, so cool! These earbuds live up to everything they say about them, and more!

I have incredibly sensitive ears and this is the FIRST pair of actual earbuds i have ever been able to wear and tolerate. They feel amazing and stay in my ears all night which is quite the feat considering I move around quite a bit. The sound quality is just okay but I am good with that considering I use them for a podcast while I fall asleep and then I have them set to switch over to a customized white noise. The ability to change what happens when I fall asleep is a gamechanger for me. Previously I would wake when my podcast (Tom's Big Spiders in case anyone wants to know) would end or when my headphones would fall out. These headphones take care of both of those issues. I wish I could find more ear buds with the ear tips that are on the Sleep A20!

My Sleep A20s have far exceeded my expectations. They really DO block out and mask a lot of external noise, helping me to fall asleep more easily and stay asleep, in spite of noises that used to be quite disruptive. They are comfortable, and easy to use and program with the App. In addition, the Soundcore customer service has been extremely helpful, promptly answering questions and giving me good advice, as I have started using my sleepbuds. These days, getting good customer service is a very rare and wonderful thing, and Soundcore gets a Triple-A rating from me. I highly recommend Soundcore and their Sleep A20s!
