[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've been really happy with the iRobot Roomba 208 Combo overall. It does a great job keeping my floors looking clean day-to-day, and the vacuuming function is solid with good battery life and low noise. The sensors help it navigate around furniture smoothly, and it handles edges better than I expected. My only issue is that the mop feature struggles with tougher or dried-on stains. It still helps maintain cleanliness, but for stubborn spots I usually have to go in and clean them by hand. Aside from that limitation, it's a reliable and convenient cleaning tool.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've been using the iRobot Roomba 208 DustCompactor Combo in a ~600 sq ft apartment, and overall it performs well for routine maintenance cleaning, with a few limitations worth noting. The onboard dust compactor is genuinely useful, it compresses debris effectively, which means I don't have to empty the dust bin after every run like I did with older robot vacuums. For vacuuming alone, it handles hardwood floors well and consistently picks up dust, crumbs, and light pet hair. The combo vacuum-and-mop function is convenient for daily upkeep. On a full mopping cycle, the water tank is sufficient to clean my entire apartment twice before needing a refill, which is impressive. That said, after about two full home cleanups, the water does need to be replaced to maintain proper mopping performance. Navigation is mostly reliable, but not flawless. I've noticed the robot struggles to climb onto area rugs from hardwood floors, especially when the rug has a thicker edge. It also got stuck a couple of times between chair legs, even when there appeared to be enough clearance for it to maneuver out on its own. These situations required manual intervention, though they weren't frequent enough to be deal-breakers. Setup was straightforward, and once mapping was complete, the robot followed a logical cleaning path. Overall, the Roomba 208 is a solid option for smaller apartments where hands-off maintenance cleaning is the goal. The dust compactor significantly reduces how often the bin needs to be emptied, while the mopping function is efficient for light, regular cleaning, just don't expect flawless obstacle navigation or strong rug-climbing capability.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Woah! I've never owned a roomba so I was not sure what to expect. This thing was huge, heavy, definitely hefty. I thought the dock would be bigger, so I like that it's sleek and not clunky. The only problem I've experienced so far is the noise level while it's running. Kinda loud, like a piece is dragging? I also am not sure how “efficient” the cleaning is, but it's nice after the kiddo goes to bed to have this run a clean over everything and get things I may have missed.

I've had about 4 different robot vacuums from different brands and this one is by far the worst one of all! Wouldn't run for more than 1 minute without getting stuck somewhere. Horrible and wouldn't recommend. I'd rather manually vacuum than have this piece of junk.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] When it vacuums, it does a good job. Initial setup is difficult, and even after creating a map, you need to calibrate it every now and then which is annoying. Never completes the job in its estimated time. One time it took 6 hours to just vacuum one bedroom when estimated time was 14 minutes. Keeping bumping into same things repeatedly. Haven't been able to use the mopping functionality yet. Battery runs fast. Perhaps there's a learning curve.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Roomba 208 is a great entry-level robot vacuum that brings everyday floor cleaning into the realm of “set it and forget it” convenience. It handles common debris like dust, crumbs, and pet hair well across hard floors and low-pile rugs, giving you noticeably cleaner floors without the daily chore of manual vacuuming. The app connectivity lets you schedule cleanings, adjust preferences, and control the robot from your phone, which really adds to the ease of use. Being able to automate routine cleanups makes it a smart addition for busy homes or anyone who'd rather skip regular sweeping. The app is easy to set up and the initial scan of the room is simple. The mopping combo is a nice feature but doesn't replace manual cleaning but for hardwood surfaces. Overall, this is a great machine and I recommend it.

Had to return the 1st one. Second works good.

It cleans every nook and cranny. This vaccum is amazing

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This rooms is as advertised. I don't know how much I will actually use the mop function as it doesn't seem to mop too well. This is mostly automated through the app which is pretty easy to use.
