The box has two pouches of fully cooked, shaved lamb and beef. It's easy to heat in a skillet (or microwave). It's got great texture and flavor. It does contain soy protein, wheat and canola oil. Fair warning if you avoid those products. It's great for a quick meal served with tzatziki sauce, Mediterranean salad and flat bread. Yum!

Easy to make it definitely recommend frying each strand of meat rather than dropping the whole bag into the pan to give it a little bit of a crispy edge. The flavor is really good and black pepper forward this has replaced my old gyro meat for sure and its super affordable lamb is not gamey

It makes for a great after school/work meal. The meat it seasoned to perfection and honestly tastes better than fast food gyros! The meat was super tender and already cut into the perfect size slices. I will definitely be buying this again!

Love that you can purchase just the meat. I portioned out the meat and froze what I didn't use for later. The meat is very flavorful and cooks up quickly in the skillet. Ate on a pita with some sliced onion, tomato and Tzatziki dip from Whole Foods. Delicious!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] One of my favorite foods a good gyro! This pack of meat made it easy! The meat is perfectly seasoned. It's very tender and not chewy. I cooked it until hard because not cooking it long enough the texture of the meat was strange like a sponge. It made a very good at home gyro. We have a festival here where I live and I go just to get gyros. This meat is better than the meat they use in theirs. I'll definitely be buying this again. The meat in each pack you could probably make 4 good stuffed gyros. Which is a decent deal with 2 packs for around thirteen dollars.

I liked that there were two packages inside the box, because one package is enough for few meals. The meat smelled so good. It was so easy to prepare. There was no need to thaw out which made it so much easier to cook. The only thing I didnt like was in the ingredients lamb was barely in there.

I enjoy making sandwiches, adding to salads, or even eating by itself. It's so versatile. This package comes with 2 bags to help keep everything fresh! I find the value to be excellent for the amount of meat. Could easily make about 8 meals from one box! The texture of the meat and appearance are spot on! The taste is delicious and tender!
