I love this pickling spice! It has a great blend of spices and adds a delicious, flavorful kick to homemade pickled vegetables. It's easy to use and makes the pickling process so simple. The 14 oz. container is a great size and should last through quite a few batches. Definitely a pantry staple if you enjoy making your own pickles!

Tone's Pickling Spice has a very bold, noticeable aroma as soon as you open the container. I liked the variety of whole spices in the blend and that it has no MSG or calories. I could see it being useful for pickling vegetables or adding flavor to slow-cooked dishes. However, the smell was much stronger than I expected, and after handling the spices, the scent lingered on my fingers, which I found unpleasant. Because the aroma was so overpowering to me, I ultimately decided not to use it in a dish. I think this would be a convenient blend for someone who enjoys a strong, traditional pickling-spice aroma and doesn't want to buy several individual spices, but unfortunately, it was just too strong for me.

The pickling spice mix smells amazing and provides an exceptional blend for pickling. The spices smell fresh and would be a worthy choice for serious and aspiring picklers. Mixing this spice mix into sour cream or plain Greek yogurt will make a tasty veggie dip. This is the spice blend I didn't know I needed and now cannot wait to find ways to use.

I just love this 14 ounce container of spices, perfect for fruits and vegetables. Meat soups salad pretty much anything you name it you got it. You can add it in last for a long time. It's the Roma from when you first takeoff. The lid is just amazing it smells just like fall autumn crisp bottom leaves and it's just perfect for this time of year like because it's like soup salad type of year and just perfect. I highly recommend this to anybody and it's not bad for the price.

I made a quick pickle today using the pickling spices, brine, and pickling cucumbers. These had the perfect tartness and warmth from all the spices. They also had the perfect slight heat from the red pepper flakes that was not overpowering in any way. The only way this could have been better was if there was a recipe on the packaging for a quick pickle!

Like no other pickling spice I've tried. Not having dill was a pleasant surprise that makes this spice more versatile than I had imagined. I cannot wait to try it on slow cooked beef and experiment. Plus I get to easily add my own dill to preference depending on current use. The bold earthy flavor profile will definitely go beyond your pickling needs.

My daughter loves pickled things, so I decided to try this. I love the smell of the ingredients, kind of reminds me of fall. So we pickled some beets, garlic and cucumbers. They tasted amazing and I dont usually like pickled stuff. I also like there is no added filler stuff in the seasoning.

I used the spices to pickle several vegetables and they turned out very tasty. My favorite was picking button mushrooms. The mushrooms tasted great eaten after pickling and also were great in salad. You can also use these spices to add flavor to salads, rice, soup, and meats. There's lots of uses for these flavorful spices.

overall the product works well. I unfortunately am not a fan of the taste. it does have a nice, sweet aroma. But I am not a fan of sweet pickled food.

The different spices are whole and not crushed up. The smell is strong, but not too overbearing. The container seals in the smell and spices and is functional.
