Tone's has been a spice brand that I've had in cabinet to use often for years so I was thrilled to find a pickling variety to help make my canning easier and even more flavorful. It is fresh, smells exactly as expected and worked will for my pickles and other canned variety of veggies. A little goes a long way so I expect to enjoy it a garden season long. I added the pickling spice to chicken soup and my family really enjoyed the added kick of flavor that it gave to the soup. It's also really tasty if you add it to a pot roast. I'm very pleased with the flavors that this adds.

I was excited to try this product as I love pickled vegetables but have never made them myself. I had some onions that needed to be used so I made some pickled onions. The spice blend made a fresh and tasty pickled onion. I added them on a hamburger and it was delicious.

I just love this 14 ounce container of spices, perfect for fruits and vegetables. Meat soups salad pretty much anything you name it you got it. You can add it in last for a long time. It's the Roma from when you first takeoff. The lid is just amazing it smells just like fall autumn crisp bottom leaves and it's just perfect for this time of year like because it's like soup salad type of year and just perfect. I highly recommend this to anybody and it's not bad for the price.

I am new to pickling. I bought the Tones Pickling Spice as a way to "spice up" my traditional pickles. It was a success. I enjoyed the flavor it provided and it was hit in my household. I am looking forward to using this product in future pickling adventure as I try different products to pickle.

I made a quick pickle today using the pickling spices, brine, and pickling cucumbers. These had the perfect tartness and warmth from all the spices. They also had the perfect slight heat from the red pepper flakes that was not overpowering in any way. The only way this could have been better was if there was a recipe on the packaging for a quick pickle!

I was looking for a good pickling spice to try to pickle some zucchini and carrots so I would have winter vegetables. That seems to be a good blend that's comparable to others. I feel the price was fair and approximately $10 for 14 ounces. I will likely try it again.

Like no other pickling spice I've tried. Not having dill was a pleasant surprise that makes this spice more versatile than I had imagined. I cannot wait to try it on slow cooked beef and experiment. Plus I get to easily add my own dill to preference depending on current use. The bold earthy flavor profile will definitely go beyond your pickling needs.
