[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this 50 in. Vizio to replace my 43 in. TV that suddenly died on me. I wasn't really sure if it was a good idea to upsize because I was afraid picture quality wouldn't be quite as good. We have the unique circumstance of having bright lights during the daytime and super low light at night when watching TV. I wasn't sure a larger screen TV could handle this type of issue without having a lower quality picture. During the day my living room gets a lot of bright light coming in from the windows behind the TV and the front door, which is often open to cause a nice cross breeze through the house to keep it cool, also lets in a lot of light in the afternoon. This TV does an excellent job of handling the bright light and still providing a high quality picture. At night when things are very dark in the living room the TV still provides excellent quality picture for everything except for some of the really old, lower quality black and white pictures. I don't really believe it's an issue with the TV but rather with the actual quality of the picture that's being streamed. As it usually only happens with certain channels that are being streamed rather than affecting all of the channels on the network. One of my other favorite things about the TV is I love it has different options for sleep mode as well. I usually fall asleep watching TV most nights so it's nice to be able to set the TV to turn off a different times depending on how sleepy I am when I go start watching TV.

I purchased a new smart Vizio that was same size for a small fraction of the cost 15 years ago + it weighed only 30 lbs. My old Vizio took 2 strong men and a small boy to move while I can lift and move the new one by myself. All I needed to do was plug in the TV and it was ready to go...no muss, no fuss. Superb color video and excellent sound. No regrets, a wise purchase.

Sure others have fancy features, that we would never use, and were overpriced. Went back to Visio and found the PERFECT smart tv. The product is excellent in every way. Just what we have come to expect from Vizio.

The apps avail3fpr download were great, the free Vizio + is a phenomenal feature, and it's picture quality is great for the price. The level of black depiction within a lot room is the only point of contention

I am Very pleased with the Quality and Longevity of all of the VIZIO TV's that I have Bought over the last 10 t0 15 years. I Just Upgraded my main TV from a 42" to a 55" for my Living Room. Very Happy with all of the Upgrades in the Features of the new VIZIO TV's.

Also some of the commercials come on at a much higher volume than the selected program. Despite the guide saying you can reorder or delete the displayed apps on the home screen, they will not move. Of course our main streaming app is the last one. Picture and sound are cleaer than our 10 year old Vizio. Setup was easy.
