good tuna

I like the catch safe - always looking to help protect the oceans. It's good tuna, not all smashed.

This looks and tastes like light, not white tuna

I'm sure that their rigorous mercury testing is important for some people, and that'll make this a great product for them. But this is skipjack tuna, what's typically considered "light" tuna, and a real downgrade for those of us who enjoy solid white albacore tuna. It does say skipjack on the label, so it's not a huge surprise, but for the price and the upscale branding, I thought it would taste better.

Best. Canned. Tuna. Ever

Easily the best tasting canned tuna on the market. They use whole filets and then cooked in the fishes natural oils. Being the only tuna brand approved by the American Pregnancy Association makes me feel much better about mercury levels.

You wont go back

So tuna has had issues with heavy metals for years and none of the big companies wanted to address it. So i was surprised to accidentally stumble across this brand where all their tuna is tested before it sold. Game changer.

Not as good as the yellow cans

The other store sells ahi tuna in yellow cans. This is skipjack in blue cans. This blue can tuna is dark and smaller in chunk size. It doesn't taste as good and feels less fresh. It's okay though, but I reccomend yellow if you have access to the other store too.
