Exceptionally good tuna

I haven't had canned tuna for a long time. (I do like canned fish in general, in particular Aldi's German style herring with curry pineapple sauce.) Anyway, I bought a pack (five cans) to try it. It was very good. My wife doesn't like tuna, but she had a taste and she liked it too. After eating the first can, I went and bought a second pack of five. I'll probably eat one can per week. I ate this can on its own, with just a teaspoon of Berman Whipped Dressing. Next time I'll make tuna salad with a can, some celery, onion, and whipped dressing. Please keep stocking this. It's excellent. But also, my dog smelled it and was very eager to try it. Tail wags galore! I let him lick the bowl after I was done eating.

Every tuna tested

Best company for tuna IMHO. They spent the money on a machine that tests mercury levels. Every tuna is tested so there's no risk of a wild dose.

Glad we tried a sample.

I was glad to find a better tuna than I did been buying. It has solid pieces of tuna with great flavor and texture.

Lowest Mercury Tuna

I love Safe Catch because they test every fish for mercury. They don't add anything to the can. You don't even need to drain the can when you open it!

Safe Catch

The tuna is quite close to fresh caught. I also value the effort to keep mercury to a minimum.

No more Albacore?

I came in to get my members mark albacore tuna, which I love and eat almost on a daily basis. There was none! Not even a marker on the shelf, indicating they were sold out! And in it's place was this, safe catch tuna. Not albacore, not even close! It is grayish brown and formed into a puck shape... I bought it, opened a can and I was in shock! I tried it and it wasn't as bad as it looked, had more protein per can, and didn't taste as bad as I thought it would. I have it for lunch at work each day and finished the package. I like that there is more protein, less mercury, and safe caught, but I miss my albacore! I continue to eat it, and have gotten used to it. So, not as bad as it looks, better for me and it's in an easy to open can. I will continue to buy it, but why no more albacore at Sam's club! I mean, they have Starkist, but it's not even close to the members mark albacore I've been eating for years.
