I'm so shocked by the bad reviews. Maybe we just got lucky. Our family loves this pool! We're into the end of our second summer with it. Easy setup, easy disassembly, easy storage (if you keep the box). Took 2 of us about an hour to set it up. One person would be difficult, in my opinion. The size of the pool is great for kids and adults. Sometimes, my husband and I sneak out in the evening without the kids and float around for an hour. We had a pool party with a bunch of wild 8-10 year olds, no issues. Nice and sturdy. The liner had a small leak in the side when we set it up the 2nd summer. I'm pretty sure it was our fault... I think we poked it when we rolled it and secured it with rachet straps for storage last year. Easy fix. Slapped a small piece of flex tape on the inside, and it's still holding strong. Much of our success is probably attributed to the pool sitting in a level concrete pad. I expect we'll have to replace the pool next season. The liner may be stretching out from the pressure. When it bulges at the bottom, it pushes the support poles outward. Over time, it could be an issue. I'm not really sure. It's on sale right now for $336, end of season buy. For this price, I wouldn't have a problem just tossing it and buying a new one. Seriously, it's a no-brainer!

We’ve had above ground pools for about 10 years now. This one went up so smoothly…had some little upgrades in th structure and the way it’s put together. The pump is awesome and is big enough to actually clean the pool. Setup was a breeze. It’s a tad big for our yard but that’s on us, we never learn haha This came with all the accessories needed too!

I was impressed by the quality of this pool. It set up easily and is exactly what we needed. My wife and I are both 65 and she just had knee replacement surgery. The pool is allowing her to do exercises that are helping her knee, without impact. It has helped my health, as well. And it is such a great way to wind down after a day of work.

The pool was defective and not the best quality for the price. The poles didn't all fit into the upper liner because some were more narrow than others and needed to be greased up and forced through. Unfortunately, it would have been more of a hassle to return this item because it was so massive in size and with no way of transporting it for an exchange. That's why it was purchased online and delivered. The setup on these pools is simple and easy. This will be my second pool from bestway purchased at sams. My first pool lasted me 5 yrs, sun rot, and fiberglass particles started becoming an itchy and painful issue. This was the first time I've had an issue with the liner not being accurate in size for the poles.

We had to wait a couple of weeks to put up the pool due to groundwork being needed. The pool was super easy to put together and we LOVE the pool. However, after putting everything together, we hooked the pump up and it wouldn't work. I thought okay, no big deal. It's Sam's, I'm sure there is an easy fix for this issue, and we can't be the first people this happened to, right?!? Well think again! I was FLOORED when the chat rep (which was the only contact I could get for this), told me that the only option I would have was to repackage everything in the SAME BOX and return it to them for a refund/replacement. I said, uh...did you miss the part where I said it has been put together and filled already? They said it didn't matter. Because it was sold as a bundle, they can't assist with just part of that having an issue. So, be warned with the bundles, maybe plug the pump up first. I guess my expectation of buying from SAM's with confidence that if something is wrong that they would make it right, was not met in this instance. Nowhere near it! Again, the pool is a 5-star rating all the way! It's fabulous! Sam's customer service was a -2 if that. I was surprised to say the least. I felt that it would be a safe investment with SAM's and it was a fabulous deal! It seems that now I will have to buy a new pump for my new pool. After 3 chats of which I saved all 3 transcripts from June 4th starting at 7:12PM EST after I got off work ended with me being told to factory package a fully assembled pool in the same box it came in and send it back was the only way to get a resolution. WOW, just WOW! I understand that it's a bundle but seriously, you have no way of improvising? I'm attaching pictures but the filter looks NEW because it is so, I'm not sure what the picture is good for.

We were so excited to set up our first pool. We ordered the Bestway 16 foot round above ground pool. We leveled and prepped our yard and took a day off work to set up the pool. The supplies were well packaged and securely wrapped inside. We took everything out and counted all the pieces before beginning the process of building the pool. Unfortunately, we noticed a cut through the liner as we started to open it. The kit comes with a few patches, so we decided to patch the inside and outside of the liner (the cut was through the bottom of the pool) and proceed with set up as we were on a very strict time line because of work schedules and this particular sized pool is not sold in our local Sams Club. We continued set up yesterday with no other problems and began to fill the pool. We have now noticed a pinhole leak on the sidewall and used another patch for it. We are upset that a brand new pool that we have yet to swim in already has a few issues. I would love for the company to reach out about additional patches and a possible replacement for when this one inevitably dies because it was never in pristine shape.

I have bought above ground pools for over 15 years. This was the most disappointing one I have ever had. First off, I live in an area with lots of dust storms. So, I clean my pool all the time and use vacuums, skimmers and change filters a lot. I was excited to try the sand pump with the poly balls. I did everything they say to clean, and this filter was useless. I even tried to change the pump to one of my ones that uses a filter, and the fittings would not fit. Second, the pool has so many seem leaks it’s insane. I have a pad made for the pools and use a liner underneath. It was not a puncture, but the seems leaking. So we had to use a lot of water proof strong tape to try to keep till the end of the season. Absolutely not worth the hassle this year. As well as I had to treat the water more than usual. I even have deep cleaned the filers and replaced with new Poly balls. Nothing really worked but me vacuuming the pool daily and using a lot of chemicals. I think this one was made very poorly designed. I am switching back to another brand after all of this mess.

after less than a week in use our pool has a slow leak at the seam. I contacted the manufacturer as the manual says to do instead of returning to store however best way is refusing to accept the online order digital receipt as proof of purchase. best way has terrible customer service I do not recommend ordering this pool, the quality of manufacturing is very poor. I wasn't expecting much for $400 however I would think it would last a whole summer season not less than a week.

The pool started bending. At first it was small dents and cover time it just became worse and broke. We leveled the ground and everything. The problem was the ladder. The metal things going across the ladder were right on the rail and when we got on the ladder the adults weight would push it down it left those dents and over time become worse.

Do not buy this pool came with holes and the seam leaked as we filled it up. Waste of time and money.
