[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] i know this is a new product from gillette and so far i love it! the exfoliating bar really helps my skin as i shave! the blades glide across my skin smoothly to give me a nice close shave. it’s very important to have a good razor when shaving and shaping my beard and this one is it!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this GilletLabs with Exfoliating Bar Razor to replace my old Mach 3 that i've had for years and I was super pumped the day that it arrived. I was looking forward to finally having a new razor with an exfoliating bar and also to finally have a magnetic base for my razor! (which is probably the 2nd coolest feature of this product after to the exfoliating bar =) The first few times I used this razor I did notice a closer shave, so much so that I noticed I could almost go and extra day without shaving versus the standard 2 days I was used to with my Mach 3. However, during a couple of these initial shaves I did have the unfortunate event of cutting myself with the razor when trying to shave just below my nostrils since I believe this razor simply has 1 too blades and can't adequately fit into and shave small spaces like the stubble just below my nose. So while I still use this razor for 90% of each of my shaves i've resorted to using my Mach 3 for the hard-to-get-to areas on my face to avoid cutting myself. So other than the "1 too many blades" concern above, I am still very happy with this razor and do enjoy the close shave, exfoliating bar, and magnetic base that it comes with. If they offered a smaller version of this razor with 1 or 2 less blades i'd buy it in a heart beat. But don't get me wrong this is still a great razor and worthy of at least 4 stars! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Super excited to finally be able to try out my new GilletteLabs with Exfoliating Bar Razor for Men. I really love this razor especially since I love to keep a clean face and I also shave my head, and with the exfoliating bar it just wonderful.

The exfoliating bar makes for a smooth shave each time whether it’s a full shave or a quick trim up. The metal stand is handy for holding the razor without taking up to much space. The handle is flexible at the razor so the blades contour nicely without causing discomfort or cuts.

This GilletteLabs razor came with a sturdy magnetic stand that allows to you showcase the razor in your bathroom. The razor itself feels sturdy and meant to last. The exfoliating bar really works and provides a smoother shave. I’ve used this razor every morning for over two weeks and I have noticed a reduction in ingrown hairs. I highly recommend it!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I must readily admit that I'm a bit of a shaving snob and it has taken me years to perfect my shaving routine, from the actual products used to the overall process. So, needless to say, I'm always apprehensive of trying something new. I gave up cartridge razors years ago, as the results were always subpar and it simply was not worth it. I can honestly state, however, that this is the most effective and most comfortable cartridge razor that I have ever used. A lot of it has to do with using the right shaving products (pre-shave, cream, oil, after-shave, etc.) for you, so your results will be dependent upon finding the right match for yourself. My immediate reaction when I tried this particular razor was surprise at the weight. Cartridge razors typically feel much too light and flimsy, but that's certainly not the case with this one. The weight is good and the handle is balanced in a way that it does not create any sort of undesirable fatigue with prolonged use. Quality is top-notch for a cartridge razor. I still somewhat believe that the claim that this razor's exfoliating technology removes debris is a gimmick...but it doesn't really hurt anything, either. I almost can't believe that I'm saying that the performance of a cartridge razor is satisfactory, but this comes way closer than anything similar. While I won't be using this as my go-to razor or a replacement to what I have been using, it will definitely be nice to have this for occasions when it might be appropriate, such as traveling.

The quality, the great feeling of it, the grip, and the exfoliating properties of it all add up to make it a must buy. It makes shaving super easy and efficient. This is something I am using daily and can definitely say it’s changed my shaving habits for the better.
