[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The first few shaves were particularly smooth. After that I began to notice the blade dulling. The design is decent and it does a good job. What I found is that the razor begins to catch the skin after a few uses. No one likes a painful shave.

This razor exfoliates, but I’m not sure how to measure that. All I can say is that my face was silky smooth after shaving. I’d argue that the shave was closer than the Gillette fusion that I’ve been using regularly. I’m not sure if that is because of the exfoliation mechanism or not though. Either way, I think this razor is great and would recommend it.

Starting with the pros, I really enjoy the weight of this product, it is heavy but balanced, the stand is also very nice, it does feel more expensive when compared to your typically razors. I always like to use a 5-blade razor. Cons: I am not sure if i notice any difference with the exfoliating portion, I might even miss the moisture bar that most razors have. My skin broke out a bit more than it “typically” does when shaving but I am not sure if this is from the razor or if it is just my skin?

It feels like an old fashioned stainless steel razor and doesn’t drag on my face. And the stand is a really nice feature. I hate having to put my razor on the sink. The razor stays clean and dry.

I have a thick beard and it went right thru my 2 day stubble. Handle is easy to hold and the blade glides nice around your neck and jaw area. Very smooth shave with no razor burn. Razor handle is backed by a lifetime warranty.

I've found that normally they cause a lot of irritation and razor burn for me. I was intrigued with the addition of the exfoliating bar so wanted to give this a try. What a difference. I get the close shave without the razor burn. Would definitely recommend.

I have only ever used Gillette razors. I have progressed through the years with every upgrade that's been offered. I now have the GilletteLabs exfoliating bar razor and love it. I haven't gone to the ezpense for the heated one yet, but probably will. The heat makes sense. Gillette is the best
