Do not buy

I wore these a few times for about an hour and half each time. It rubbed my ear so bad that it caused a blister on my ear and the battery life will die and have to recharge the case after every use. I did not have the barcode but had the packaging. The store would not return the item. I call customer support with sams and they could not help either. Now I have a pair I cant wear.

Hi Steve- Shokz here! We're very sorry to hear this has been your experience. To adjust your Shokz OpenDots ONE for better comfort, position the speaker against the inner ridge of your ear and the battery compartment behind it, angling the JointArc 0°–30° downward. Ensure the silicone, nickel-titanium hooks rest securely without excessive pressure and avoid inserting them directly into the ear canal. All Shokz come with a 2-year warranty. Please visit our website to submit your claim or to contact our Customer Happiness Team. *Friendly Reminder- Shokz take 1.5-2 hours to fully charge. To ensure the longest battery life, it’s important to remove Shokz from the charger once the light turns green.* Thank you!

While the audio quality is great, call quality makes them basically unusuable for phone calls.

While the audio quality is great, call quality makes them basically unusuable for phone calls. They are very light and I often forget I'm wearing them which could make them great for runs, but the inability for anyone I'm on the phone with to hear me speaking is unacceptable.

Nice sound, but poorly engineered

I honestly do really like the sound they make. The bass is solid, and the overall sound quality is nice and clear. BUT, the way it's designed only lets the sound come across cleanly if the speaker is aligned right with your ear. In other words if you shift the earbud out of the exact alignment it becomes quiet or not very clear. On top of that, the proper alignment blocks other sounds from your ear which is not ideal. On top of that the touch response is pretty poor and gesture settings are pretty unintuitive tbh. So while the sound quality is nice, they're just not designed or engineered very efficiently or optimally. (They would be better designed if they used the shape of your inner ear to bring the sound into your ear rather than needing it to be directly pointing at your ear hole(idk terminology). That way your ear would be more open to hearing other sounds and the alignment wouldn't need to be perfect for the sound to come across well. (I think Bose's open earbuds have a better engineered design that does that very well, but the sound quality is definitely not as good(a lot less to low key not enough at all bass is my main complaint with them).

Phone talk quality is not great

Although the sound is great music wise, these buds are not great for using while talking on the phone or any sort of dictating. Keep that in mind if you want to use these for phone conversations as well.

Almost perfect

These do exactly what I wanted them to do but they do start to hurt after a while despite being very light. I’m experimenting with different placements to ease the discomfort but I think the open fit line would’ve been better for me.

I love them but . . .

. I love the clip on, barely feel them but I am struggling with the touch on/off function. . I had tried my nieces before buying and had no issues so a little bit disappointed that I'm struggling with mine.

Dots headphones

Using the earphones controls-double or triple tap and double pinch while working out are difficult to get used to. Volume level changes are also a challenge. The fit is great and sound is decent at high volume and great at lower volumes.

Great Sound

I only took away one star because these ear buds does not let you know who's calling or texting. You still have to look at your phone before you answer it. Had I known this, it would've swayed my decision. Other than that they sound great!

Love these

But I love these wish you would make them in bone conductive and I have red ones not pink. Also wish they could be a little more adjustable as I have a sweet spot that they sound best in so I am always adjusting them.

Shokz Open Dots

I tried numerous open ear buds and these were the best. The sound and comfort is far superior to all others, even the more expensive ones. Extremely happy with my Shokz.
