I was so hopeful about these. I have classic shokz which I love but I wanted something that doesn't wrap around the back of my head. I tried OpenFit but I don't love the way they sit right in front of my ear canal. I thought these were going to be perfect, but the ball that sits inside your ear is just too big for my ears and my ear canal is still blocked no matter how I adjust them. I'm bummed.

Behind the head version: was good and lasted awhile but always hated how that band stuck out and couldn't use them with a winter hat or when lying down. OpenFit: Constantly had problems getting them in the case exactly perfect so they would charge. Then eventually had problems maintaining a charge. They would say 100% and then 1 would decide not to work. Cannot have that during a long run. OpenDots One: The fit is more solid but the touch sensors are more sensitive to wearing a hoodie or having something covering your ears. Also, as someone who's hard of hearing (moderate hearing loss) I do find them more challenging to hear in. I do like the option to magnet charge. I use headphones every single day to walk, run and work in. They get a lot of daily long term use.

I've been using Shokz for over 10 years, from Aeropex to OpenRun to OpenFit. The OpenDots are by far the best you've come out with for running. They're so light, you don't even feel them, yet they're secure. I ran a 50k trail race in them and they were great. And the sound is the best of all your products. Very easy to use and good battery life.

Bought these as soon as they were on sale as I have the OpenRun2 and love them. These have good sound and after a few attachments to my ears, I have become pretty good at it - it was quite awkward at first. The only thing I don't like is that I can't get the speakers to face my ear canal. It seems they would need to be twistable, but I'd rather not compromise wiring. I do have a larger head/ears, so maybe I'm just an anomaly.

They are uncomfortable after a few hours. Not sure they even last 10 hours cause hurts too much to wear them that long. The tapping; single, double and triple don't really work consistently. Dots sound better than the OpenRun Pro 2. However the buttons on the OpenRun Pro 2 are much better

I love almost everything about them but double tapping will not take most times. I have to keep tapping it until it comes on. I had the same problem with my last pair too. But the battery life is amazing now and they are very comfortable. The sound is so much better too.

Read and watched many reviews on this product before purchasing. Mainly wanted them for the open ear design and long battery life which is very nice. Watched a popular video on them not falling off during side sleeping and the audio quailty being good. While I understand and wasn't expecting them to be perfect I was a little disappointed since I got my hopes up. They do not stay on despite being clipped onto my ear as I roll a lot and the audio sounds muffled/underwater. Call quality and touch controls also leave alot to be desired. Overall I still enjoy them for thier ease of use and long battery life but improvments could definitely be made. Should not have gotten my hopes up with other reviews either but that is a me thing.

I have owned more than 20 items by Shokz and AfterShokz. These Dots have been the intersting change ups. They are comfortable. They have great volume. I am very pleased with them although I was skeptical. I will be ordering more. Thank you for keeping up the great work you all do.

No. My shokz are not everything I wished for. I have not received them and it is impossible to get in touch with Shop or you about it. I have orders from three other companies that use shop that are also screwed up and Inam unable to get. I love these! I use these every day at work, home and at the rock gym. I love that you can listen to music and still hear when people talk to you. I also love that I don't feel them on my ears. I can wear them all day and my ears don't hurt. I also like that you can use one bud at a time, not all ear buds let you do that. The only problem I have is that it can be difficult to pause sometimes
