[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this GilletLabs with Exfoliating Bar Razor to replace my old Mach 3 that i've had for years and I was super pumped the day that it arrived. I was looking forward to finally having a new razor with an exfoliating bar and also to finally have a magnetic base for my razor! (which is probably the 2nd coolest feature of this product after to the exfoliating bar =) The first few times I used this razor I did notice a closer shave, so much so that I noticed I could almost go and extra day without shaving versus the standard 2 days I was used to with my Mach 3. However, during a couple of these initial shaves I did have the unfortunate event of cutting myself with the razor when trying to shave just below my nostrils since I believe this razor simply has 1 too blades and can't adequately fit into and shave small spaces like the stubble just below my nose. So while I still use this razor for 90% of each of my shaves i've resorted to using my Mach 3 for the hard-to-get-to areas on my face to avoid cutting myself. So other than the "1 too many blades" concern above, I am still very happy with this razor and do enjoy the close shave, exfoliating bar, and magnetic base that it comes with. If they offered a smaller version of this razor with 1 or 2 less blades i'd buy it in a heart beat. But don't get me wrong this is still a great razor and worthy of at least 4 stars! They're are so many that are similar but just a little different it was really hard to decide which was best. I decided to give this one a try and I'm really glad I did. The exfoliating bar feels really good and it's hard for me to find something that doesn't irritate my sensitive skin. There are many immitators out there but don't let them fool you. Get the real deal.

The blade has great move ability and covers all angles. The new exfoliate strip cleans your skin while you shave and saves time. Great product got one for my dad and father in-law

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So far it has been good to use on my face and not irritate on skin. It has 5 blades that gets the hair off smoothly. I like the small green part if the shaver which is the exfoliate bar. So as you shave any small hairs that might be there will be moved before the blades touch it. It also comes with a magnetic stand. It has a little weight to it, so it feels sturdy on it. I use it while I let it air dry after I washed and used it.

I love the base and the way it helps keep my counter clean and organized. Overall this is a great razor system and one that I will continue to use.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As a full face and head shaver, have up on holding out long ago, finding the perfect razor for a fresh clean shave of your face, neck, and head can certainly be challenging. I was a long-time fan of Mach-3 (among other brands) though after receiving a Gillette Labs as a gift there is no going back. The exfoliating bar keeps my skin silky and moist and the 5 Gillette blades w/ 2D Flexdisc perfect cut at any angle.

I love the idea of the magnetic stand; so easy to use - just place it on the stand once done and pick it up when needed, for use. The shave is great, quicker and smoother with the 5 blades. I do not have to keep going over the same spot to shave again and again to make it smooth. However, I did not feel anything exfoliating - I feel that is just a gimmick for marketing purposes and making it more expensive for no reason. The head of the shaving blade is quite flexible and contours according to the edges and curves of my face for an effective shave.

It produces such a smooth shave and doesn’t pull at all. I have sensitive skin and this has been a problem with other razors. The magnetic stand looks great too. Well done, Gillette.
