[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve used a lot of different razors in my lifetime. I definitely feel that this razor takes the number one spot. Don’t let the stylish design take away the fact that the razor performs. The blades are very sharp but will no cut you. Only takes 1 or 2 passes over your facial hair depending on what kind of hair you have. I let my whiskers grow out alittle more to see if the blades would get clogged up. Nope! Very impressed that all the hair just rinsed out without getting clogged. I think that the metal stand is a little bit extra but it does make the appearance of the razor look better than it just laying down inside your cabinet. It also takes up less room. Overall, I’d recommend this razor to anyone.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The GilletteLabs exfoliating bar razor for men is amazing. It gets a smooth shave with minimal razor burn issues. I like that it has the stand also that just makes it so much cleaner on the sink area.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this because I thought the exfoliating bar would be a cool feature. I like the feel of the razor in my hand, and the stand is nice but that’s about it. I don’t find the blades on this to be very sharp, or either the exfoliating bar causes an issue. I’m not sure. The shave isn’t very close and I find myself having to go over the same areas many times. It misses a lot of hair. My face didn’t really feel any smoother, I couldn’t tell any difference than using a regular razor. Unfortunately, after a couple uses I went back to my other razor. For that, I can’t really recommend it to anyone. Not to say that it might work great for someone else.

Don't let the razor's attractive appearance detract from its ability to perform. The blades are razor-sharp, but they won't hurt you. It only takes one or two passes over your facial hair, depending on the type. To see if the blades would become clogged, I let my whiskers grow out a little longer. Nope! I was blown away by how easily all of the hair rinsed out without becoming clogged. The metal stand is unnecessary in my opinion, but it does improve the looks of the razor as compared to it simply laying inside your cabinet.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Since I've started shaving I've bounced from brand to brand and 3-7 blades with all sorts of features but never settled on a consistent razor. This one was a surprise and will be my choice for some time to come it seems. The first thing I noticed when unboxing was the included base. I had expected from the picture it was a plastic disc but was not ready for how solid and sturdy it was, and the weight. It sits firmly where you put it and is a solid display stand for the razor when not in use. The handle is nicely sized and allows for a solid grip no matter what hand or angle you are holding it at. Makes it easier to get into corners and specific angles. I've only used the first blade til now and it has held up after a few weeks of shaving and does not seem to be letting up and wearing out yet. Still have the smooth clean shave from the first round. The exfoliating bar I've not noticed as a useful or noticeable feature, but I've yet to find many or any razors who has a substantial bar.

I did not notice much difference in the exfoliating bar, but this razor definitely provides a smooth shave with no razor burn or in grown hairs. Also comes with a magnetic holder which makes storage easy. Would recommend.
