[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve been using the GilletteLabs razor with the exfoliating bar for a few weeks now, and I’m genuinely impressed. The exfoliating bar is a nice touch—it gently preps the skin before the blades do their work, which seems to help reduce irritation and gives a smoother shave overall. The handle feels solid and premium, with good weight and grip, making it easy to control. The blades are sharp and long-lasting, giving a close shave without too many passes. Overall, its a very satisfying product.

Handle is fine, Like the stand, The blades are subpar to Fusion. The blades started to pull after first shave. Could not complete the second shave. I am bald and have been shaving using fusion for years without a problem. Not Prep. Fusion blades last 2-3 weeks or 4-5 shaves. I would not be surprised if these blades are thinner with a sharper bevel angle making the susceptible to tip dulling.

I've used many different types/brands of razors, and I believe I have found the perfect one for me. No matter what razor I tend to use, I end up with nicks and razor burn. My skin is extremely sensitive and it's hard to find a razor that doesn't irritate or cause me facial woes. Having used this particular razor for quite some time I have found a couple things of interest. First, the blades are wonderful. They cut right through facial hair without the usual "pulling" feeling. They last even longer than my usual brand as well. The exfoliating works wonders leaving my face soft, smooth and burn free. Secondly, the handle is comfortable to hold and easy to use. It has heft to it and feels solid so it can withstand a few drops by an "oopsie." The movable head works well and holds the angle needed perfectly. I love the design and color. Very modern and simple. Lastly, there's an included stand. I don't really need this (maybe you will), but it's a nice addition and actually holds the razor upright and ready to use. It could've used a spot for extra blades as well, but it's not a huge miss on their end. All in all, this is a solid razor with blades that cut great and left me feeling smooth and irritation free. The head has an exfoliating bar along with the razors to smooth out your skin and remove and dirt left behind from washing your face. I’ve been using Gillette products for years and have always had a great clean shave using theirs razors.

I love it's 5 blades has a great magnetic stand for the razor also had a extra head for shaver so that's great. I love this razor its the best one I've ever had and I will continue to use this for as long as I can.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] As usual, Gillette made another great razor. The blades last about as along as any other blade made my Gillette. The exfoliating bar is nice and gives a great "clean" feel after each pass of the blades. The razor is top heavy which, in my opinion, makes for an easier shave. The base is magnetic for the handle so it strands up right, I do wish the magnet was a tad stronger (if you bump the razor while on its stand it'll fall over). Not something that will stop me from buying again.

I love the idea of the magnetic stand; so easy to use - just place it on the stand once done and pick it up when needed, for use. The shave is great, quicker and smoother with the 5 blades. I do not have to keep going over the same spot to shave again and again to make it smooth. However, I did not feel anything exfoliating - I feel that is just a gimmick for marketing purposes and making it more expensive for no reason. The head of the shaving blade is quite flexible and contours according to the edges and curves of my face for an effective shave.
