[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After using this razor for the first time, Gillette taught me the value added of buying a quality razor compared to a generic one. I used to always use the bag of value razors that tend to be cheaper and go “further” or so I taught. I could feel the difference from the first shave using Gillette’s exfoliating bar razor, smoother, sharper, and not having to go back through the same spot more than once. Also, when it’s time to replace it, it’s more convenient to just switch the top part of the razor with a new head and less costly than the first time when you have to invest to buy the handle, which also comes with this razor stands that I have to admit makes a razor look cool and almost part of my bathroom decoration.

I can't be sure the bar creates a better experience, but its design does create a better connection between the cartridge and handle. I don't think the cartridge will ever inadvertently pop off like some have done in the past. The weighted handle and stand really make this razor feel premium and the shave is excellent too.

How could a new razor made by Gillette Labs with a exfoliating bar create a better and cleaner shave than anything I have experienced in the past? Somehow, it does. The exfoliating bar actually works. It wicks away dry skin cells and dirt, so that the razor just glides through hair quickly and smoothly. The blades are extremely sharp. I dare to say sharper than any other Gillette razor that I've ever own. The thing is extremely well made and a work of art. It comes with a heavy stand than holds the razor in an upright position. Shaving in the morning no longer needs to be a chore. It's easy breezy with this thing. Comes with 2 cartridges, it'll last quite some time before needing to be replaced. Nothing beats Gillette!

It comes with a nice stand for the razor so you can keep it up and out of the way. It has exfoliating technology built into the handle so it is just as easy as washing your face. The blades are easy to change. This is a shave like none other before. If you never used one like this I highly recommend that you get one and try it out for yourself as this is an experience that you can not just talk about and explain how good it was.
