The blades are more expensive than other Gillette blades but its the top of the range, so its to be expected. The razor is a good design but it does not shave close enough and leaves patches. Let me explain. The top and bottom pads are raised way higher than the blades themselves which in my opinion is the reason for the bad performance.

It's incredibly smooth and my face is a big fan of the multiple blades on each razor head. I expected nothing less from this razor and am very pleased! Defintely recommend.

I have tried several different razors and have not really found one that I really like. I tried this one and so far so good. I will get another one when it is time to. Clean smooth shave, and so far no break out.

Its as easy as washing your face,Exfoliating Bar is really unique idea!! Wow, such a exellent Razor from GilletteLabs, Love it!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this because I thought the exfoliating bar would be a cool feature. I like the feel of the razor in my hand, and the stand is nice but that’s about it. I don’t find the blades on this to be very sharp, or either the exfoliating bar causes an issue. I’m not sure. The shave isn’t very close and I find myself having to go over the same areas many times. It misses a lot of hair. My face didn’t really feel any smoother, I couldn’t tell any difference than using a regular razor. Unfortunately, after a couple uses I went back to my other razor. For that, I can’t really recommend it to anyone. Not to say that it might work great for someone else.

I bought this April 13 and just threw away the original blade. I shave on average 3 times a week and this is amazing to me it lasted this long! The shaves are close and smooth and easy. I have used Gillette for many many years and never been this satisfied. Thanks for this great product!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Let me start off by saying Gillette has topped all other brands just by the stand. This stood out to me because when you lay a wet razor down on the counter (or wherever) the section with the exfoliating bar does not “melt” all over the counter. This set itself comes with the razor, the stand and two cartridges. The razor gives me a smooth shave and leaves no hair or razor burn behind. Definite fan of this one!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The design and overall look is very classy. The stand is durable and easy to clean. I mean it when I say this is going to last a long time! The back of the razor is very open spaced which is a big win because it is so much easier to clean out after a shave. I use creams to shave and they usually gunk up razors every stroke. What goes in this comes right back out. It swivels at the cartridge to help get a more equal shave. I shave my head with a razor so I really appreciate this feature. Thats also where the release slide is though, so sometimes it does get in the way. As far as the exfoliation bar goes, I'm not really able to tell a difference. It doesn't exfoliate ingrown hairs as you shave. But I dont have to double back on the same spots with this razor. It is still a high quality razor.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I wish there was more lubrication than abrasives because of the irritation it causes to my neck. This brand does assist by giving the closest shave on my head and is able to be used quite a few times before tossing.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Super smooth razor that did not leave any nicks on my skin. I love the design of the handle and the included stand makes it easy to store when not in use. The head rotates easily to conform to your skin for a great shave.
