If you’re considering buying this, pull the trigger. You won’t find anything better in this price range. For what my family and I use it for it’s perfect. We enjoy hosting(with music playing), watching sports, and watching movies when we can . I do recommend having a home opposed to an apartment because that 12 inch sub is no joke.

i just purchased my new monster soundstage sound bar with the 12" speaker and I Absolutely Love It....... there was no huming noise or any unnecessary noise. the bass sound crisp and only came on with music. The sound wasn't low. The only warning that i have it that this system is so powerful that you don't need to turn the volume up to hear everything. i had to turn the volume on 8 to make sure that i didn't disturb my neighbors.

Do not buy!! I've had my sound bar for less then 4 months and has quit working. Dealing with monster to get this resolved is crazy! No phone numbers to call and no one will email me back on how to get this fixed. By far the worst customer care i have ever dealt with i paid over 500 dollars for this setup and now im out everything because no one will reply to my emails

Too loud on the lowest setting. We had to return it because of this. On the “1” volume setting- it would wake up everyone in the house.

Hooked it up to be louder that the others that I have in my home, works as it should it gets loud wish it was more of a surround sound on the bar but the bass is deep and pleasing while watching movies

This thing is insane!!! Words can’t even describe the immense power and sound that comes from this unit. I cannot watch movies now without this speaker system. It will shake the house down. Music sounds incredible, crisp and clear with 0 distortion. I’m very happy with my purchase

If you want loud and bass heavy system, this is it. If you want crisp like Bose, this isn’t it. Does it do the job, yes! You can feel the bass while watching movies, but for me the clarity isn’t there. Great for a game room and action movies. For heavy dialogue movies, this isn’t it. Music sounds really good.

I’m using it for my theatre room it bass is good but i can hear it throughout the whole movie on parts where bass shouldn’t even be heard I set it to -1 for the best possible use but even then it doesn’t sound right I’m thinking about buying the surrounding speakers so I can get a good effect because with just the sound bar and the sub it sounds like it’s missing something

The unit is impressive looking. However that is where the compliments in my opinion end. The midrange and high's are clear enough. Dialog comes through clearly. The letdown is in the bass performance. The subwoofer emphasises mid-bass instead of the lower bass you would want in a balanced system. Mid bass frequencies of 60 to 120 hz emphasised to give the impression of power, but at a muddy boomy sound. The sub was unable to provide any meaningful output under 45hz. What starts out as sounding powerful evolves into a booming annoying "one note" sound of bass which becomes tiresome. I am returning this unit. Had high hopes but a big disappointment.
