This system sounds way better than expected. The bass is insane. I keep it set at -1 and it's perfect. Connectivity with the tv is amazing since I only have to use my normal tv remote to control both. This system has more than enough power for a large room. The only difficult about setting up the system was pairing the sub. The directions were not clear for the exact sequence and it took about 6 tries and 10 minutes. I have had zero issues with this system since install. Being able to use it effortlessly for Bluetooth and usb devices is great. Highly reccomend this product. It's way better than the other sound bars in the store.

Wow. This truly is a high-end SOUNDSTAGE for my TV room. Monster gear continues to impress. I have the RRX for weekend club BB and VB games and had the Gi30 inside home until wife said it was too loud and too Fast%26Furious-looking. It’s now my home garage gym system. This Monster SoundStage Pro sound bar is wife-approved for our 70” TV set up. Bass is canyon-carving strong. Highs have lots of clarity and dialog vocals are crystal-clear. Great replacement for my just -dumped LG Atmos soundbar. The LG back speakers had to be wire-run from a receiver box but the box doesn’t sync well w main sound bar. Glad to lose all this for something that sounds exponential better with less clutter (per wife’s input).

This soundbar is very good quality for the price. I was skeptical at first because of some of the negative reviews I read. The subwoofer is loud, but it can be adjusted lower to your liking if it's too much for you. (My wife normally lowers it all the way and I hire it back up) Overall it is a really good!

Name says it all Those reviews 1 star , i am sure they did connect soundbar through Bluetooth, i did same but after changing to earc with Hdmi cable , this soundbar gives you theater feelings , vibration , bass , sound quality its loud and clear I dont even need to go over 2-3 volume its that loud dolby atmos , whole room fill up with amazing sound . If you want theater in the house get this and make sure to connect this sound bar by hdmi to your tv . Only down point is it start with loud sound .

Overall the sound was very good. The problem is as others have stated the volume is not linear. When set to lowest volume which is 1 it is still to loud to watch TV when others go to bed. At volume level 2 it sounds like most sound bars at a volume set at 30 to 40 percent on the volume scale. I contacted customer support who said they were sending me a flash drive with a firm ware update that would fix the problem. I received the drive and performed the update but it is still the same. I am going to return the speaker system. If you have a big room and like it loud then buy it but if you have a small room don't waste your time.

So far not worth the money,unit keeps switching back to tv speakers or shuting off on its own when watching a movie. Even after them sending me an updated sd card to down load.returning product.

The sound was good for music with a strong bass. The sound will rattle the pictures on the wall. However, for TV programs it's hard to understand dialogue. Music - yes. TV programs - no.

Do not buy!! I've had my sound bar for less then 4 months and has quit working. Dealing with monster to get this resolved is crazy! No phone numbers to call and no one will email me back on how to get this fixed. By far the worst customer care i have ever dealt with i paid over 500 dollars for this setup and now im out everything because no one will reply to my emails

7.1.2 in industry standard parlance means, especially with soundbars where speakers can't be individually assigned different functions/placements, five channels across the front, two surround channels behind you, and two up-firing channels, usually located in the top of the soundbar to bounce audio off the ceiling to provide the overhead audio of Atmos and DTS:X. However, this soundbar is JUST the soundbar and subwoofer, with no dedicated rear channels. The user manual mentions pairing the soundbar with a rear surround speaker (singular), yet it doesn't come with one, and after chatting with a customer service rep at Monster, he confirmed there is no such speaker even available for purchase separately. So, in the end, this isn't a true 7.1.2 soundbar, just a wide front soundbar and a subwoofer that may or may not have up-firing speakers in the top of it, but I wouldn't even trust that at this point. Also, the complete lack of published specifications (frequency response, SNR and SPL measurements, etc.) only adds to the suspicious nature of this rig. For $399, you're much better off getting the Vizio Elevate 7.1.4 Pro. It might only have an 8" subwoofer, but it at least also has the full complement of speakers with two additional overhead channels for even more immersion. And that little 8" sub, while certainly not a direct replacement for a 12" sub, is still more than ample for most uses, particularly since the only thing it would miss is the ability to rattle windows at the opposite end of the house. But, for audible and even some physically impactful bass, it's plenty for when you're sitting in the same room with it. This Monster mess is a hard pass for me.

i bought this sound bar to go along w a new TV. It is one of the worst purchases I have ever made. The speaker is fuzzy sounding. So poor is its sound quality that people have asked for me to repeat what I thought I heard. Which is funny since it's volume level of one is EXTREMELY LOUD. There should be about 6, 7 additional levels between 0 and 1. Another issue is the whirling hum that runs for 15-20 seconds every minute. That is just annoying. There no issue with the bass. but everything else is just worthless. DO NOT BUY!
