This soundbar is very good quality for the price. I was skeptical at first because of some of the negative reviews I read. The subwoofer is loud, but it can be adjusted lower to your liking if it’s too much for you. (My wife normally lowers it all the way and I hire it back up) Overall it is a really good!

Love this thing it’s so loud and clear sounding

Preface:  Just ripped out and about to sell on NextDoor our previous LG Dolby Atmos Soundbar (58" 5.1.2 with sub and wireless rear speakers that need speaker cables run to a rear receiver box.) Had too many connection issues and my wife wanted something cleaner and simpler with no speaker wires.  Also didn't like how this long soundbar sticks out too far in front of our TV's feet. Enter the Monster:  First, although this Monster soundbar is shorter, it fits perfectly in between our 70" TV's feet so it's barely noticeable and basically stealth invisible at night. Set up is easy.  Turn on everything and subwoofer auto-pairs to sound bar.  Sound is super impressive from super-clear voice dialog to deep canyon-carving bass effects from the substantial subwoofer. Just watched  Stranger Things S5E8 and man the SoundStage was pro clear, loud and hits so hard, I had to turn both the treble and bass down and (oops) we've not seen our tuxedo cat in this room for 2 days. Nighttime streaming is great as well because even at the lowest volume setting, dialog is still crystal clear and allows me to shut off subtitles.  Back to aesthetics...one small feature I'm digging is not seeing visual clutter from an always-on LED displaying "Optical/HDMI" or "ARC" like we had from 5 years of the LG soundbar.  The Monster goes completely dark, unless you change the volume and seconds after this the soundbar's LED goes back to stealth mode.

I bought this yesterday… AMAZING!! The surround is true Dolby/Atmos and the bass pumps so hard I had to put it down to -1! Pretty much rocked everything on the walls! With the quick hook-up it only took about 15 minutes to place the 44 inch surround, bass and pairing. I hooked it through the optical (included) cable. It had an included HDMI Arc too, but I’ll run the optical for about a week then test out the other so I have a better understanding of the different sound from each. (If you hook up one, then a few minutes later hook up the other it doesn’t give you enough time to compare the listening sounds between the two). Simple easy-to-understand instructions, a quick connect then a more in-depth owners manual. Right now I can’t get enough of the bass without my walls shaking, trying different placements but the speaker’s pretty big, have to get something to disguise it. Overall, cool system without all the background satellite wires and unsightly speakers. Sounds great and will do a second review with the HDMI Arc connected.

I love ❤️ the quality of the sound that it has.

You won’t find a bigger subwoofer at this price. This may not be Bose quality sound but it’s perfect for movies and music.

Wow. This truly is a high-end SOUNDSTAGE for my TV room. Monster gear continues to impress. I have the RRX for weekend club BB and VB games and had the Gi30 inside home until wife said it was too loud and too Fast%26Furious-looking. It’s now my home garage gym system. This Monster SoundStage Pro sound bar is wife-approved for our 70” TV set up. Bass is canyon-carving strong. Highs have lots of clarity and dialog vocals are crystal-clear. Great replacement for my just -dumped LG Atmos soundbar. The LG back speakers had to be wire-run from a receiver box but the box doesn’t sync well w main sound bar. Glad to lose all this for something that sounds exponential better with less clutter (per wife’s input).

Name says it all Those reviews 1 star , i am sure they did connect soundbar through Bluetooth, i did same but after changing to earc with Hdmi cable , this soundbar gives you theater feelings , vibration , bass , sound quality its loud and clear I dont even need to go over 2-3 volume its that loud dolby atmos , whole room fill up with amazing sound . If you want theater in the house get this and make sure to connect this sound bar by hdmi to your tv . Only down point is it start with loud sound .

Overall the sound was very good. The problem is as others have stated the volume is not linear. When set to lowest volume which is 1 it is still to loud to watch TV when others go to bed. At volume level 2 it sounds like most sound bars at a volume set at 30 to 40 percent on the volume scale. I contacted customer support who said they were sending me a flash drive with a firm ware update that would fix the problem. I received the drive and performed the update but it is still the same. I am going to return the speaker system. If you have a big room and like it loud then buy it but if you have a small room don't waste your time.

The sound was good for music with a strong bass. The sound will rattle the pictures on the wall. However, for TV programs it’s hard to understand dialogue. Music - yes. TV programs - no.
