It is heavy duty and doesn’t feel like it will break when I use it. This set comes with the razor, 3 blade refills, a magnetic stand and a travel case. It has everything you need in one package. The blades on this razor are really sharp too and they shave super close which I like. It doesn’t leave stubble behind. The exfoliating bar on it is nice too, and removes any dirt from your face before you shave. The handle of the razor is easy to hold and has a nice grip. I like the magnetic stand as well. When you are done, just stick the razor on the stand and you are good to go. The travel case is nice too and comes in handy if you go on a trip. I do recommend this razor. Immediately I feel better about not having to lay my razor on the counter between uses. Another good quality about this razor is the build. The handle feels really good compared to disposable or budget razors. The shave itself is great! The blades deliver a really close, superb shave. I have no complaints about that. The exfoliating bar, however, doesn’t seem to deliver much. It gives no feeling or sensation that is worth noting. In closing, if exfoliating is important to you, I wouldn’t rely on this razor for that. However, this is indeed a good quality razor that delivers great shaves.

Also, the stand that it comes with is nice because it means you don't have to leave the shaver laying around getting dirty or sitting in it's own pool of water. Shaving: smooth and easy. Nice balance to the handle with good length to help you reach the sides of your face comfortably. Good cut length, too. Smooth action when shaving and smooth skin afterwards.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve used a lot of different razors in my lifetime. I definitely feel that this razor takes the number one spot. Don’t let the stylish design take away the fact that the razor performs. The blades are very sharp but will no cut you. Only takes 1 or 2 passes over your facial hair depending on what kind of hair you have. I let my whiskers grow out alittle more to see if the blades would get clogged up. Nope! Very impressed that all the hair just rinsed out without getting clogged. I think that the metal stand is a little bit extra but it does make the appearance of the razor look better than it just laying down inside your cabinet. It also takes up less room. Overall, I’d recommend this razor to anyone.

Almost every razor I use irritates my skin but this didn't irritate it at all. It almost makes me look forward to shaving.

The handle is slick sturdy, comfortable to hold and feels awesome in hand. Razors stand with magnet is great helps keep the four razor blades sharp. Gillette Lab with Exfoliating Bar Razor for Men is awesome and the best, just buy it if you need razor.

Thought I would try the new Gillette razor and shaving creme. The shipping was quick. I purchased the travel case in hopes it would be of value but I was wrong. Instructions were printed on the case but the lever to open the case is plastic and broke off. This rendered the case worthless so in the trash it went. The shave jell was interesting. I twist the top of the can to open and close the valve so when I placed it in the open position and pressed the button the jell did not come out in a stream but spread out all around the top of the can. In the trash that goes. I ordered two razor stands and they were difficult to get the razor to stay in place. One has to press the handle hard for it to stay in place .In the trash it went also. Well at least I gave it a shot, just didn't work for me.
