I’ve been using Gillette razors practically my whole life. But never invested in an expensive blade. This razor is a game changer for me. Normally after I have a beard for any length of time and shave again my face gets the crap beat out of it. Red splotchy marks everywhere and I literally need 24/36 hours for it to calm down without looking like I’ve got some skin disease. This pic was taken 5 minutes after shaving. I had a full months beard on my face. I’m an actor, and shaved specifically to put myself on tape tomorrow for a possible job. I shaved tonite to give my face time to “calm down”. I could have shot the video this instant if I wanted to. Game changer. Sometimes more expensive is actually better. I’ll never use a cheap blade again. Thank you Gillette!

I have been using Gillette products for most of my adult life (37 years old) and I am a firm believer that when it comes to certain products for maintaining your body - you cannot cheap out and try to go for a bargain basement product because in the end, its your body that will pay the price. One area I constantly say that is of top priority is that of your face. While I have used Gillette various razors in the past including the Fusion, the ProGlide and and the ProGuide Shield- I have to admit that this particular razor "Gillette Labs Exfoliating Razor" tops them all. This razor just amazes me and even for not shaving for say 4 days to then finally shaving it all off, the experience of the shave was ultra smooth and no irritation or unpleasant effects, just a phenomenal shave! While the razors might be a little more pricer than the others and you won't typically find them in the wholesale clubs, I highly recommend this type of razor over the others and the results you will receive is worth every penny, your face will thank you for days to come.

It is actually magnetic so you razor stays in place. The exfoliating bar just makes for a cleaner and smoother shave. Absolutely love this razor.

I was pleasantly surprised how well it cleaned up my stubble in almost one stroke without irritation around my neck. Very impressed.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Every time I get a new Gillette razor, I'm usually pretty excited. However, when I opened this one I was a little disappointed to see that it's effectively identical to previous models but with a higher price tag. I've had the proglide fusion razor for years now and all I've had to do is replace the cartridge every so often. I didn't really notice the exfoliating bar doing anything extra, and the stand is very unnecessary in my mind – I don't ever intend on leaving a razor on display, I feel like it'd be weirder to leave it out. Anyway, if you really want to display your razor or want the latest and greatest, go for this, but otherwise you're probably just fine getting a slightly older model.

I can only speak to my own experience so I’m not going to try and overstate BUT….my skin looked much better after I used this for a few days. I have sensitive skin and it’s prone to irritation but the results were beyond expectation. I am truly a believer that the exfoliating strip works. A smooth shave and great looking skin. What more could I ask for. Well, it comes with a pretty cool stand so yeah, I guess I could.
