Shaving one's face with a regular 3-5-blade razor is plenty exfoliating on its own without the exfoliating bar attached to this one. I don't like the fact that they've managed to create a new form factor that isn't backwards compatible with the old heads either. But it did its job and was a nice feature to use on one's body as well.

Im also super impressed with the exfoliation bars that this razor has. Love the fact that it comes with a sturdy stand. Shaving is not an hassle anymore, would recommend.

The other good news, the blades seem to last longer than the normal razor and I typically shave in the shower this is one of the best yet.. I highly recommend this razor..

The packaging is fantastic and you know right away that you are holding a superior and well-made product. I use this one in the shower when shaving in the morning. Get a great shave and having a stand included is a great feature. I am not sure I notice much difference with the exfoliating bar, but maybe with longer use, I might notice a difference.
