I do not see any differences with this razor versus a standard one, except for the metal based it sits in. This also feels much cheaper than other Gillette's as the body is made of plastic. Do not waste your money on this.

My only issue with the exfoliating bar is that for someone with a beard like me, it makes it a little more difficult to shave right to the edge of my beard.

It's so smart to have your razor vertical, so it dries quickly and the exfoliation bar isn't making contact with anything. It's sturdy yet not overly heavy. Really great quality. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] great razor, I like the pivoting and rotating head of this razor. it maintains close contact to skin and is ultra flexible. Kit comes with 2 razor heads, and a chrome stand with a magnet to hold the razor upright when not in use. I didnt like how you can't remove the head without the protective cover on it though, so do not lose that as the release needs to have it on in order to push it off.

The pivot head now rotate side to side as well as front to back which is nice improvement. It comes with a really nice stand that has a grippy bottom so it doesn't slide around on your counter. As for the shave itself, I had fairly sensitive skin and so far no issues at all. It even gets those little baby hairs close your mouth and nostrils. All in all it's a really nice razor and improvement from the mach3.
