I did not notice much difference in the exfoliating bar, but this razor definitely provides a smooth shave with no razor burn or in grown hairs. Also comes with a magnetic holder which makes storage easy. Would recommend.

First off, this model has a nice heavy weight to it which I personally appreciate after years of using cheap single use disposal shavers. The design is very slick and pleasant to the eyes. The included stand really compliments the product overall and works well. Thanks to the superior quality multiple blades on the replaceable razor, I was shocked how easily it shaved off my thick stubborn facial hair with just a single pass. Found myself an all-time new favorite shaver! Would highly recommend. Looking forward to using it again soon! 10/10.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] GilletteLabs have really outdone themselves with this incredible razor. The metal handle looks stunning and feels amazing while shaving. They boast a shave as quick and easy as washing your face and that is exactly what this razor does. Between the five blades and exfoliating bar my skin has never felt so refreshed after a shave. I like the attractive magnetic base that keeps the razor upright so it can be dry and clean for my next shave. Gillette has raised the bar yet again!

Even when I go a few days without shaving it gets it in one pass. The exfoliating tip leaves my face feeling smooth and soft. It even comes with a stand for the razor which makes it look very clean and nice in the bathroom. I would definitely buy this again

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The two things that matter most - does it give you a clean shave and is it comfortable on your skin? Yes on both counts for this razor. I didn't have to press super hard to get a good shave, which also helps with the comfort. I felt like the razor fit nicely against my skin (maybe that's just the shape of my face) and had a good weight to it, making it easy to maneuver and control without either hand pain or skin discomfort.

I was a long-time fan of Mach-3 (among other brands) though after receiving a Gillette Labs as a gift there is no going back. The exfoliating bar keeps my skin silky and moist and the 5 Gillette blades w/ 2D Flexdisc perfect cut at any angle.
