This set is gorgeous and the customer service from the company was amazing. I was missing my red dragons and had 4 extra blanks instead. I emailed and they sent them the next day.

The Tiles are BEAUTIFUL and while not the absolute best quality (etching is a little light and some of the printing may wear off easily) they are a lovely set for the price. The transparent pink is such a fun touch. The racks leave a bit to be desired. They are VERY narrow and the thick tiles are hard to sit on them. Many instances of them slipping off the rack. The pushers are not hinged, which doesn't bother me but threw off some of my friends. Now, the case and bag are ok quality, but WAY too small. Everything barely fits inside with it packed *just so*. It's nearly impossible to get the tiles back in the case- you have to set each one in individually and balance them perfectly. Bag is not large enough for OMM racks, and any mat will have to be folded meaning creases will mess up sliding walls. The inclusion of the mat is a nice tough for a starter set. The mat is printed neoprene in an off white. colors arent quite as vibrant as the listing but still lovely. My friends who were newer to the game complained it didn't have charleston/ dragon rules on the mat. Over all, a goof beginner set. The tiles are a lot of fun and it's easy enough to toss the items into a more accessible bag.

If you're a beginner, this set will be a good one. It has everything you need to get started (table mat, 4 trays, dice, tiles) with appropriate accessories making it convenient to store. There are a few areas I'd really like to see improvement. First, the size of the carrying tote, which is just slightly too small in my opinion to put the racks in. I'd like to see the bag wider by 2-4 inches so the racks could be put in without having to adjust them. Second, the tile holding case, you have to place all 160 tiles neatly stacked together in order to zip it up. A nice bag, where you can scoop up the tiles and place them in quickly would be a better option. Again, if you're a new player or only play occasionally, this set will do. If you want something more sophisticated, geared towards serious play, invest the money and buy from Oh My Mahjong, which has incredible sets.

bought it when it was $90 and it is worth it

As someone who plays every week with the expensive “name brand” tiles I can say without a doubt the quality of this set is amazing!

My nieces gave me the set for Christmas and I love the feel and grade of the tiles. Not super fond of the mat, but realized I did not have the red dragons. It was so easy to contact customer service and within seven business days I had all four red dragons. They’re a great company to work with and the product is excellent. Will not hesitate to purchase another set from this company.

JoyC has the best customer service. Like a few others I was missing the red dragons. I emailed JoyCs customer service and they had replacements on the way the very next day. I did get the pink set and they seem easy to read. I can’t wait to start playing. I am new at Mahjong so this was a great set for me to start with.

I love the colors of this set, but there is no bird 1 bam (it’s plain bamboo) and my set was missing all 4 red dragons. They are replacing my set, but I have to go through the trouble of printing a mailing label and returning the old set to the post office.

Played only a few times and the images and numbers on the tiles are coming off

I bought 4 sets as gifts and they all are missing the dragons. Good quality overall
