I'm not sure if my floor isn't level enough or my load is uneaven or to heavy but every now and then the washer will splash and it will run down and out the sides on to the floor I also think my water is to hot causing a build up of condonation witch runs down the side. The size is perfect I replaced a full size washer with it. If you purchase perhaps place it in a pan made for washers. I have it in seller with concrete floor. The water isn't running on the outside but inside of the tin cover.

Set up takes a few mins but its not bad. If you need the inner thread you have to use the adapter and remove one of the washers. then you will see the inner thread. I do stress to read the Manual. I didnt and I was having a lot of problems. Ex: my clothes were still very wet once the quick cycle was done. When I tried to put it on spin only it was washing them again. Only when I read the Manual did I know there was a difference in the cycle if the light was flashing it or not flashing. After that it was soooo much better doing laundry. I was on the verge of returning the washer. Its bigger then you think it is which I was very happy with and I do recommend buying the dolly. So much easier to roll it around if you aren't going to have it stationary.

This washer is a life saver. It is plenty big to do fairly large loads of laundry for a portable washer. It does function as well as a full size would recommend if you do not have washer hook ups. Install is easy. Good water levels. If you are hooking this up make sure you have a large drainage area. I use the bath tub hook it up to the bathroom sink. Agitates and is level. Noise is comparable to a regular full size.

I love this machine. I was a little hesitant to order due to the reviews about many receiving it "banged up", but mine was delivered in perfect condition! I love it, it is so much bigger than expected. I immediatly startung washing and set up was easy. I would recommend a dolly, this machine is extremly heavy. It does have 2 wheels but to be honest they are useless. This is a great investment!

As described and very satisfied after a couple uses. Very quick set-up, easy to use and works wel. Completed a medium and a large load. I did stay with the two loads to see how things went and was happy with its operation, not as noisy asexpectedand closed door made watching a tv a non issue. Taking a chance paid off - great product.

You will need to watch this washer while it washes. Sometimes it goes back to the beginning of the cycle. To dry clothes you will need to have it go through the spin cycle more than once. For the washer to completely fill up with water- choose the bulky setting. After a month the spin cycle was not consistent in the spin speed. I returned this item. Looking at getting a regular washer and extra long drain hose, water hose. Regular washers may be better and the same size. Good luck with your search and washing.

I don’t understand why this washer is called a portable lol !! There is not one single thing portable about it at all…I haven’t even used it yet cause it’s so freaking big I don’t have anywhere to put it.."..it’s got to be the biggest washer I have ever seen and if something needs a dollie or cart to move it I surely don’t think it’s portable

This machine is much nicer than the old one I bought last year. But the packing is horrible and easily to be damaged! Also, quality control could be better. The first machine I had the connection to the drainage tube is just too loose and burst out of water 3 times and damaged my wood floor. The second machine I received the box was damage with a big hole and the metal side was deformed and had to return it. I just hope that RCA will have better packing with better quality control. Otherwise, it's a good machine.
