The oven was a huge disappointment to me after purchasing it for my granddaughter who loves to cook. First of all, the products needed to use the unit all come” separately “ at an additional cost! The cost to these items is super expensive. The one item that comes with the unit is fair but the mechanism has a weak design in that the child has to push the dish through the unit with a long tong-like instrument. It’s just poorly designed and actually takes more effort than it’s worth. I also felt that the unit was too expensive for the quality.

This does not come with any food. Not sure what is ultimate about it. Only one pan and no food. I had tried to order refills when I bought this and they were sold out so my kid can't use it till I can find some but alot of the food kits are specific for certain pans that we don't have, so I guess we will have to buy those to.

They are selling these with no mixes. It makes no sense to just sell the oven and nothing inside to cook in the oven. My daughter was heartbroken when we opened it and realized she couldn’t use it right away. I had one of these as a little girl and it definitely included starter mixes.

I am excited to give this to my granddaughter for Christmas - I do believe she will love it. Now I just need to buy some more mixes, which so far they look kind of expensive. But I will keep hunting for a lower price. I also already told my girlfriend about this product and she is purchasing for her granddaughter also.

that my great granddaughter age 6, was really excited about one of many christmas gifts that she was really hoping for. Now she just got to get her mom away from it lol. looks like i'm going to have to get her mother own easy bake oven and that way they cook together lol.

It is different than the easy bake oven I had as a kid, it has a lot of plastic now as opposed to all metal which makes it safer. I can recall several burns received on my hands and arms. However it was just as much fun for my granddaughter and I to bake in. I do not think 8 years is old enough to use this without supervision. A parent or guardian should be with any child under 10 who wishes to bake with the easy bake oven.

I purchased this little oven for my 6 year old daughter that loves to help her mom cook. Her eyes lit up when she opened this for her birthday. We have used it multiple times since, and she absolutely loves it. I feel like the price is not only fair but completely adequate for the amount of joy my daughter has had since she received it. It would be an awesome Christmas present for the little ones!

This is most definitely NOT the easy bake oven you may have had (GenX crowd). I was so happy to let my 5 year old have the easy bake oven experience. I brought all the additional little mixes and everything to my extreme disappointment. Let's just say I followed the instructions to the letter, and NOT ONE recipe tasted decent. I didn't expect bakery perfection, but each recipe was giving scented play dough taste and texture. My 3-year-old wouldn't even eat it, and he's like Mikey he eats everything....

My order is nit as expected. The east bake oven looks used and is in a box that is taped together on all sides and edges with holes and is even open on one end already ! Plus it charged me 44.97 but sent me one with a clearance tag of 33.87 attached to it. Extremely disappointed. I can’t wrap this as a gift. I will be returning it!

You'd be better off buying a toaster oven and teaching your child to bake buying real food than this. Bought this for my 9yo daughter then bought the separate foods which was an additional $7-$10 a piece. The slot to put the food in is so small like it's literally bite size for the price you pay to buy a box of cake, icing, sprinkles and more. It takes a while to prepare and an adult must be present but the end result is not worth it. I see why now my Dad told me no when I was my daughters age and wanted one. You'd be better off buying a toaster oven painting it pink and buying the dishes to fit it and teach them to cook that way especially if you have other children that want to participate so there's enough food for everyone at the end result and the time it takes to make one bite of some of the food is 13-20 mins, for a child that's a long time to make 1 bite of food then have to wait again to repeat to get another bite size. And it only comes with one baking dish so every time you have to repeat to make another bite you have to rewash the dish if you don't have another. Had I known now what I know I would've never bought this.
