It is better the previous types.

After shampooing , my scalp remained clean and clear of dry patches. Hair was soft and manageable and not greasy or stripped of oils. Still had volume and not weighed down. Rinsed clean. I want to emphasize that I have dry scalp, not dandruff and that is difficult to find products that handle dry scalp. Overall very happy with product and size.
