perfect watch for outdoorsy people. the battery lasts 7 days with always on display on, and 14 days with it off. the smart features are great and the flashlight is perfect for any occasion.

I actually like my Garmin watch very much! The only downside is the fact that step-by-step instructions explaining the many functional features of the (4) does not exist. This would be extremely helpful for us seniors!!!

The watch is great but the owner manual sucks big time. A simple task like switching from one saved watch face to another turns into major issue, and instructions cannot be found anywhere!

Fantastic build quality as always. Looks sharp and performs, I think, better than any other smartwatch in the market. I’ve owned three instincts before this and they’ve always been great watches. The AMOLED screen elevates what’s already a fantastic watch.

Pleasantly surprised after wearing a Instinct v1 for seven years. The OLED Screen makes for an extraordinary experience using the watch, not to mention the overall performance improvements. The sensors seem much more accurate and responsive. Notifications are easy to read and the GPS functionality is much faster. Overall I am very pleased with the upgrade.

Bought this a few weeks ago, great for fitness tracking and teams up with Strava great, the only complaints I have, at times when im working we carry some of our tools with us in two hands so it won't pick up my steps unless im swinging my arms like a normal walk which for the day drastically reduces my step count on the watch,,,, and the tracking of food is very easy BUT it would be nice to have a tab on the garmin ap that shows calorie intake comparing to burnt calories to make it easy to see surplus or deficit, other than those couple things I would highly recommend and buy again! Great watch very rugged and easy to use!

I have had this now for about a month and it is my first Garmin product. I really like it. I switched from a fitbit after the google health update and I could not be happier. It has tons of additional features and makes tracking my weight lifting very easy. Easy to track my calories and will end up paying for the premium service. I would definitely recommend this to anyone wanting a serious activity tracker.

Bought around a month ago, and since then I've hiked with it, floated 50 miles of the Missouri River, and it's been with me on multiple jobs sites. It has been awesome in all regards. It has a comfortable fit, and looks good. Only downside is no maps on the watch itself.

Don't buy any Garmin device in Guernsey if you want to connect it to an android device.as you cannot down load from Google play store. and Garmin will not help resolve this . The deice i have had bought for me is really good but without connect. Its not really any better than any normal watch it defiantly is not a smart watch And if you wish a smart watch use some other manufacturer that does recognise Guernsey as part Great Britain like it is politically.

Clear sharp display, easy to read. I used the Garmin Connect app to choose a watch face with hour, minute, and second hands. I also went with the red, green and white display colors, making it even easier to read. The battery life is excellent, about two weeks, and the battery life indicator is accurate. My last watch would indicate nine days of battery life, but only go five. I use mine at work in the medical field. With some watches, when you wash your hands, it's hard to get the watch clean and dry without removing it from your wrist. Not a problem with this one. I also use it to record my hikes. The hikes are fun to look at on the Connect app. I'm glad I chose this model. After two weeks of ownership I can see no downside.
