I usually just use bullion powder or cubes for convenience but I really enjoyed making things with liquid broth. The flavour was beefy and tasty. I wished I could also try the chicken because I usually make chicken dishes.

I used the Swanson Beef Broth in a rice vegetable bake that has rice, water chestnuts, celery, onions, carrots, black pepper, soy sauce and some herbs. I usually only use chicken broth in my cooking but the beef flavor made me experiment with some new recipes. I used it to make a delicious French Onion Soup from scratch. The broth was flavorful and not very salty so I was able to add more salt if I felt it necessary. Great beef flavor. So easy to use. And easier than making your own stock! The soup turned out amazing. I would absolutely use this broth again.

The only thing I wish is that they offered a no salt added version. I compensated by not added any extra salt to the recipe. It was delicious and I would buy this product.
