I used the Swanson Beef Broth in a rice vegetable bake that has rice, water chestnuts, celery, onions, carrots, black pepper, soy sauce and some herbs. Instead of water like people often use with rice dishes, I love using beef broth in this dish since it makes it super tasty and gives it that savory umami rich depth of flavor that makes it more delicious than a typical rice and vegetable dish. I had been wanting to make French Onion soup for a while so when I received this broth it was the kick I needed to finally do it. The beef broth was perfect for my recipe, not too salty as I like to add my own, and had a great beef flavor. All in all it turned out great and I’ll definitely stock up on this broth.
