[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I used the 3M Heavy Duty Colored Duct Tape in gray securing an access panel that would no longer stay upright without help. It held without a problem and stayed secure. The tape ripped easily and cleanly.

I liked that the packaging states that it is Heavy Duty and that it shows that the adhesion amount is a 4 on a scale of 1 to 6. I also like that this product is available in different colors. The instructions I received with the free sample roll states that it is easy to tear. I agree. I was able to tear off a piece of the tape with my hands and scissors where not necessary. The instructions also state that is for INDOOR USE ONLY. The packaging does not state for INDOOR USE ONLY. For the consumer to make a better educated purchase, I think that the words "INDOOR USE ONLY" should be added to the packaging.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Having seen a fair share of duct tapes available on the market, there are several properties I tend to look for. For this 3M level 4 duct tape in white: Pros: - Good size roll: allowing quite a long way before having to switch rolls, also means less paper core waste. - Slightest hint of beige: it is a lot easier on the eyes compared to the bright white ones I have before. - On the thin side: at first I thought it was a con as I’m used to thick tapes. Now that I have tried using it, I find it very easy to conform it to even odd shaped items. As a bonus, the white tape also allows me to trace designs underneath for when I’m using it for crafting purpose. - Maintain well under the sun: to test the product, I have stick it in plastic and left it under the sun for more than a week straight. I’m pleasantly surprised to find that there is no significant change in color, it did not lift, and even more surprised to find no residue when I tried to remove it. Cons: - The tear does not always come out to be a clean line. - Not much, but if I have to pick, the relatively thin build could translate to occasional wrinkles on the tape, which could easily resolved by simply giving it a light stretch while applying. Overall, it is a well-rounded, sturdy and versatile product for general uses. I have received this duct tape from 3M to evaluate and I am very glad to discover its properties and to come up with various new usages. It’s a product I would recommend.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It's duct tape, what else can it be said. It's tear resistant, it can hold almost anything and is always good to have on hand when doing any king of repairs. I really like the different colors, I use it clearly mark different areas and boxes.

We were able to pack up the cardboard boxes easily. The tape was secure and I did not need to add multiply layers. We used a section of tape to label each box with black marker and it was easy to see. I would definitely recommend this product!

My work jeans split across the knee just as we started spreading dozens of bags of mulch, which requires me kneeling to push it into place around bushes, etc. Rip off 2 pieces of this heavy-duty tape (no scissors needed), slap on across the ripped place, and continue kneeling and standing and kneeling again all morning - without the tape moving, peeling, or falling off! Super product!

It has an Industrial Strength Adhesive that sticks well, but is easy to remove if you need to make adjustments to your application. I used it to repair/replace the hinge on an antique 3.5 inch Diskette holder that I use to store USB charging cables. It stretches slightly and conforms easily to curves and uneven surfaces. It is easy to tear, but I prefer to use scissors. (Turn the scissors upside down to keep the tape from sticking when you cut.)
