[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like that this comes in colors other than blue. I personally really like the white for my projects where I need duct tape. It looks clean and is more visible if I need to write something on the tape. Plus, it sticks like I need it to!

I chose the black with the thought it would be handy to use on a project needing some attention. This tape did just that and you can hardly tell its on there. Exactly as I imagined.

Its extremely easy to tear, no scissors needed and no annoying strings left behind. It holds up really well and isn't flimsy at all. I will be using it for all my household needs.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I passed this product on to my daughter, after she said she had an idea but needed a product like this. It was time for her to use a special fertilizer on her back lawn but she'd been afraid to use it because it was toxic to pets for 48 hours. She has 2 cats who like to go out for a while every day & she'd been afraid to use the fertilizer because of this. So she cut two heavy strips of cardboard (from moving boxes), attached screen material to the cardboard using this tape, & used it to temporarily screen in her covered patio. She connected the vertically placed cardboard pieces to to wooden posts on the patio. This allowed the cats to go outside, but only on the covered patio for those 48 hours, after which she removed it all. She added that the product was very durable, yet tore easily as she used it.

Magic marker writes on it easily. Sticks the Best, he was so happy it was strong. he has always had issues with different tapes on boxes. he has used regular silver duct tape which didn't stay. He was so happy it stayed just where he put it. Happy Man!

Let's face it, there's ALWAYS going to be a need for carrying a roll of duct tape around! You want it to be heavy duty, strong, and most importantly, not leave a messy, sticky residue when having to remove it. It was interesting to note that this duct tape is thinner than what you would expect. It's strong, holds up well, and doesn't leave a messy residue behind! I don't think my picture will do the tape justice, I tried to show the thinness of this tape to compare what you may be used to. It's not a bad thing!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The 3M Heavy Duty Colored Duct Tape I reviewed does stick well to surfaces which is a huge plus. I also appreciate that the black color is easy to identify on objects. The negatives I found were that the tape is thinner than I expected. It doesn't tear easily and wrinkles while tearing. That can become a problem when it is needed for flat surfaces.
