I bought this mattress because I have a homemade crib that is slightly shorter than a standard crib. I wanted to get a new mattress for my second son since there was a 4.5 year gap I was afraid the old mattress might have mold. I live in the Caribbean so a mattress in a box that I could buy online seemed perfect. I counted on it expanding within the crib to just the right size. It did! It is firm which a crib mattress is supposed to be. I used it after only about 2 hours - it was as thick as the regular crib mattress by then, but the odor was strong so I have decided to let it sit a week as some reviewers recommend before putting baby back on it. I washed all 3 covers but tore the fireproof one putting it on, which made me lose the zipper head after I zipped it up because the bottom closure was torn. For that and the odor I deducted 1 star but otherwise this was definitely a good buy.

Better than the $50 mattresses elsewhere! It feels like a firm Tempur-Pedic pillow, so beware it is not a sinking memory foam mattress. Perfect since child experts recommend baby sleep on a firm mattress. It arrives in a slender box about 3 feet tall, and hardly weighs anything! You'll have to take the mattress out and take off the mattress covering to apply a flame-retardant covering. When putting the mattress cover back on, I don't know if it was just me or if it is made funny, because it took me a good while to get it back on. That would be the only bad thing about this mattress. I laid it out flat to let it rise, and it seemed to be completely expanded after 24 hours. However, I did leave it for the full 48 hours, but did not see any difference. Baby took to it very well, considering we had a portable crib with a flimsy 1.5 inch mattress pad. Very well worth it, shipping was fast!

Amazing mattress that we received to go with our Storkcraft crib and changing table set. What a relief to be able to get everything in one place, knowing the quality would be exceptional and the mattress would be safe for our little one. It came well wrapped and easy to unfold, it was light and easy to move, and came with a cover to ease our concerns over leaks. Overall it has stood up beautifully to the test of newborn poop accidents already!

Way too firm. Definitely doesnt seem like memory foam by any means. I bought this for my toddler for his toddler sized bed. I would have returned it if I had kept the box. I had a little too much faith and was sorely disappointed. I plan on buying my son a better mattress in the near future.

if I could buy this in a size appropriate for myself I would. it's thick it's plush its extremely comfortable worth every penny easy to clean light weight I've laid with my son to put him to sleep(hard to not fall asleep myself it's so cozy) I can get off with out the weight disrupting him I can not recommend this enough just absolutely amazing

We love this mattress for our child and purchased a second one for my parents crib. Highly recommend! I echo a previous reviewer’s question about the mattress cover: can just the cover be purchased separately? I’m unable to find it anywhere. I washed and dried the cover (against the rules) after it was thrown up on and I needed it in a hurry and it definitely shrunk and barely fits the mattress now.

Just received this mattress today from ordering online and I absolutely love it! Bought it for my son. Assembly was easy! Says 48 hours for it to expand but it only took about 4 hours for mine to expand. The perfect foam mattress! Not those type of loud plastic waterproof cover! More of the lighter weight and less snorting cover. It also come with a fire barrier cover.

My daughter slept oddly in her old mattress. So i decided to give this one a try. I was honestly a bit skeptical about the wait time on it to fully "inflate". But once done it felt really nice. Soft and firm. My daughter loved it and immediately crawled into bed and was so happy. She slept soundly all night and didnt want to get up in the morning. I highly recommend it. Worth the money spent!

I ordered this product offline and picked it up at my local Walmart. The package was very light and small enough to fit in my back seat. Only complaint I had when I got home was that it was very difficult to get the fire proof cover on; I almost ripped it. Once I finally got it on it was fine. You have to allow 48 hours for it to fully inflate. The mattress is soft but firm and is a perfect size.

This is a premium crib mattress, so soft and comfy for our son. He's a great sleeper *knock on wood* and I'm sure this mattress has something to do with it! We were very happy with the quality and it came in a very practical box that was easy to carry and assemble. 10/10!
